What Is a Bluetooth Receiver?

The TaoTronics® TT-BR05 Bluetooth Receiver adds Bluetooth and hands-free calling capability to existing wired audio systems.

It works by:

•Connecting to any wired audio systems, such as speakers, car audio, etc. with the attached 3.5mm audio jack.

•Then pairing wirelessly via Bluetooth connection with any smartphone, tablet (Android, iOS, Windows, etc), or other Bluetooth A2DP enabled transmitting device.

Once successfully paired and connected, your wired headphone/ speaker/stereo system can receive music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, etc.

How to Use

1. Charging

The receiver can be fully charged in around 2 hours. We recommend charging the unit for least 4 hours before using it for the rst time.

To charge the receiver:

1)Insert the micro-USB end of the charging cable into the charging port of the receiver

2)Plug the USB end of the charging cable to an USB charging adapter or any active USB port

3)The power LED will turn green when charging. It will automatically turn OFF when the receiver is fully charged.

Note: You can use the TT-BR05 while it is charging.The internal circuit is design to protect it from over-charging.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

In order for your TT-BR05 to pair with other Bluetooth devices, you must bring the TT-BR05 into pairing mode. This is indicated by the indicatorashing red and blue alternately.

1)Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until the LED ashes red and blue alternately

2)Activate Bluetooth on your phone and set it to search for new devices

•iPhone® Settings > Bluetooth > On

•Android™ > Bluetooth: On > Scan For Devices Note: Menus may vary by device.

3) Select “TaoTronics TT-BR05” on your phone.

Note: If necessary, enter a passcode consisting of four zeros or eights (0000 or 8888) to connect.

•The TT-BR05 can remember the last successfully paired device. To reconnect to the last paired device, simply turn on your device and the receiver. The Bluetooth connection will automatically reestablish.

4. Pairing Two Devices At The Same Time

The TT-BR05 supports pairing two devices simultaneously. Although you can have two devices paired, only one of them can play music through the receiver at a time.To pair two devices:

1)Follow the “Bluetooth Pairing” instructions to pair the TT-BR05 with your rst device

2)Turn OFF your rst device.The TT-BR05 will automatically switch into pairing mode

3)Connect your second device with the TT-BR05

4)Turn ON the Bluetooth of your rst device and select “TaoTronics® TT-BR05” on your phone, now both devices will pair with the TT-BR05 receiver.

To switch between the two devices, simply pause the music on the rst device and play music on the second device or vice versa.

Note: The TT-BR05 can remember the last two successfully paired devices. To reconnect to either of the last paired devices, simply turn ON the Bluetooth of the device and the TT-BR05. The Bluetooth connection will automatically reestablish.

5. Useful Tips

•Music will automatically pause when making or taking phone calls; it will resume when the phone call is nished.

•The TT-BR05 will power off automatically if there is no Bluetooth connection for 8 minutes.

•You can safely use the receiver while it is charging.

Care and Maintenance

•Keep the receiver away from heat and humidity

•Do not put the product under direct sunlight or hot areas. High temperatures will shorten the lifespan of the receiver

•Do not try to take the product apart.It may cause serious damage

•Do not drop or knock your receiver on hard surfaces as it damages the interior circuit.

•Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product

•Do not scrape the surface with sharp objects.

Troubleshooting

Q: My receiver will not switch on.

A:Please recharge it and make sure the TT-BR05 has enough battery power. Connect the unit to a charger and see if the power button turns green.

Q: I am having trouble pairing and connecting to my Bluetooth pairing device.

A: Please check the following:

•Please make sure your Bluetooth device supports A2DP profile

•Make sure the TT-BR05 and your device are next to each other or within 3 feet

•The TT-BR05 must be in pairing mode; this is indicated by the LED

ashing red and blue alternately.

Q:After connecting and pairing with my Bluetooth device, I cannot hear any music from my sound system.

A:Please check the following:

•Your sound system is connected to theTT-BR05 via 3.5mm connection

•Make sure the music volume is at an audible level on both your

Bluetooth audio device and your sound system

•For some systems, you may need to select “AUX” or “Line-in” as an audio input method

•Please make sure your audio device is playing music via Bluetooth.

Some devices (such as computer) require manually selecting the music output method.

Q: Can I use the TT-BR05 receiver while it is charging?

A:Yes, the TT-BR05 is designed to be used while charging.The internal circuit is protected from over-charging.

Q: I haven’t used the TT-BR05 for a while, now the battery is dead. What can I do?

A:If the unit has not been used for more than 21 days, please charge the unit for at least 4 hours as the battery will need a full charge. Please be aware that the LED indicator light may take several hours to show that recharging is complete.

Warranty

This product is covered with TaoTronics® parts and labor warranty for 12 months from date of its original purchase from TaoTronics® authorized retailer and distributor. If the device fails due to a manufacturing defect, please contact TaoTronics® Support ([e-mail]) immediately to launch a warranty claim. We will instruct you on how to return the defective unit back to us for repair and replacement.

The following are excluded from TaoTronics® warranty cover:

•Device purchased as 2nd hand,used,or from unauthorized sellers

•Damage resulted from misuse and abusive action

•Damage resulted from chemical, re, radioactive substance, poison, or liquid

•Damage resulted from natural disaster

•Damage caused to any 3rd party,person,object,and beyond

Was ist ein Bluetooth Empfänger?

Der TaoTronics® TT-BR05 Bluetooth Empfänger fügt Bluetooth und eine Freisprechfunktion zu bereits vorhandenen verkabelten Audiosystemen hinzu.

Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:

•Schließen Sie den Bluetooth Empfänger mit dem beigefügten 3,5 mm Audiostecker an ein verkabeltes Audiosystem an, wie bspw. ein Lautsprecher oder Autoradio

Der Empfänger kann innerhalb von 2 Stunden vollständig aufgeladen werden. Wir empfehlen, den Bluetooth Empfänger vor der ersten Verwendung mindestens 4 Stunden aufzuladen.

So laden Sie den Bluetooth Empfänger auf:

1)	Schließen Sie den Micro-USB-Stecker des Ladekabels an
	den Ladeanschluss des Empfängers an.
2)	S c h l i e ß e n S i e d e n U S B - s te c ke r d e s L a d e ka b e l s a n
	d e n USB-Ladeanschluss eines USB-Netzteils oder an einen
	aktiven USB-Anschluss an.

3)Die Power-LED leuchtet grün während der Au adung. Sie leuchtet nicht mehr, sobald der Empfänger vollständig aufgeladen ist.

Hinweis: Sie können den TT-BR05 während der Au adung verwenden. Die internen Schaltkreise sind vor einer Überladung geschützt.

3. Bluetoothverbindung herstellen

Um den TT-BR05 mit anderen Geräten über Bluetooth zu verbinden, muss der TT-BR05 zuerst in den Verbindungsmodus versetzt werden. Der Verbindungsmodus ist aktiviert,wenn die LED-Anzeige abwechselnd rot und blau blinkt.

1)Halten Sie den Powerknopf 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die LED abwechselnd rot und blau blinkt.

2)Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth auf Ihrem Smartphone und starten Sie die Suche nach neuen Geräten.

•iPhone® Einstellungen > Bluetooth > An

•Android™ > Bluetooth: An > Nach Geräten scannen Hinweis: Menü kann je nach Gerät abweichen.

3) „TaoTronics® TT-BR05” auf dem Smartphone auswählen.

Hinweis: Falls notwendig, geben Sie als Passwort viermal die Null oder viermal die Acht ein (0000 oder 8888).

Der TT-BR05 erinnert sich an das zuletzt verbundene Gerät. Um eine Verbindung mit dem letzten Gerät erneut herzustellen, müssen der Empfänger und das Gerät nur eingeschaltet werden. Die Verbindung wird automatisch wiederhergestellt.

4.Verbindungen mit zwei Geräten gleichzeitig

Der TT-BR05 kann sich mit zwei Geräten gleichzeitig verbinden. Aber auch wenn Verbindungen zu zwei Geräten gleichzeitig bestehen, kann nur von einem Gerät zur Zeit Musik über den Empfänger abgespielt werden. So stellen Sie Verbindungen mit 2 Geräten her:
