OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

- Measuring water The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the degree of hardness/softness desired. The measuring cup marked 3 scales : Soft, Medium and Hard-boiled. Each scale has the number of eggs marked on it. Fill the measuring beaker with water up to the appropriate mark. Mark sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal position. Unwind the cable from the base. Pour measured amount of water into the boiling plate.

- Preparing for eggs Use the pin underside the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into the blunt end of the egg. This prevents the eggshells bursting during boiling. Put eggs into tray and put the boiling plate. Close the lid.

- Boiling eggs Put the plug into socket. Machine is now in operation. When all water has evaporated. Built-in thermostat switches off the boiler and the buzzer sounds. Eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug from socket. Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg tray and cool the eggs.

- 7 -

Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg tray and the cover can be washed normally. However, the cooking plate which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a moistened towel. Do not immerse the appliance in water! When excessive scales are deposited on the cooking plate, normal household vinegar can be used to remove the scales. Dilute the vinegar with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto the cooking plate. Allow soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour way the liquid. Wipe the cooking plate clean with a moistened towel. Safety Measures The appliance should not be used when:

- Cable is damaged - The appliance can be visually seen damaged - The appliance has been dropped onto the floor, even if visible damage is not seen. Do not use the appliance except as stated in this manual.

FONCTIONNEMENT

-Mesurer l’eau La quantité d’eau requise dépend du nombre d’oeufs et du degré de dureté/mollesse souhaité. Le verre doseur présente 3 niveaux: Mou, Moyen et Dur. Chaque niveau indique également le nombre d’oeufs. Remplir le verre doseur de l’eau jusqu’à la marque appropriée. Vérifier que le cuiseur à oeufs est bien horizontal. Dérouler le fil depuis la base. Verser l’eau dans le bac.

-Préparer les oeufs Utiliser la pointe sous le verre doseur pour percer une petite ouverture au sommet étroit des oeufs. Cela évite que les oeufs éclatent en cours de cuisson. Mettre les oeufs sur le plateau et mettre le bas. Fermer le couvercle.

-Cuisson des oeufs Brancher la prise. La machine est maintenant en marche. Lorsque toute l’eau est évaporée, le thermostat éteint le cuiseur qui se met à sonner. Les oeufs sont cuits. Débrancher l’appareil. Retirer précautionneusement le couvercle.

Comme c’est très chaud, retirer immédiatement le plateau à oeufs et les laisser refroidir.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE NETTOYAGE

FONCTIONNEMENT

Toujours débrancher l’appareil et laisser refroidir avant de nettoyer. Le plateau à oeufs et le couvercle peuvent être lavés normalement. Cependant, la plaque chauffante fixée au fonds de l’appareil ne peut être nettoyée qu’avec un chiffon humidifié. Ne pas plonger l’appareil dans l’eau! Lorsque trop de calcaire s’est déposé sur la plaque chauffante, du vinaigre normale de cuisine peut être utilisé pour l’éliminer. Diluer le vinaigre dans de l’eau (1 dose de vinaigre pour 10 doses d’eau). Verser la solution sur la plaque. Laisser pénétrer 30 minutes. Puis vider le liquide. Essuyer la plaque avec un chiffon humide.

BEDIENINGSPROCEDURES

-Water afmeten. De vereiste hoeveelheid water is afhankelijk van het aantal eieren en de gewenste hardheid/zachtheid. De maatbeker geeft 3 schalen aan: Zacht, Medium en Hardgekookt. Elke schaal geeft het aantal eieren aan. Vul de maatbeker met water tot de geschikte markering. Zorg dat de eierkoker in horizontale positie geplaatst is. Wikkel het snoer van de basis af. Giet de afgemeten hoeveelheid water in de kookschaal.

-Bereiding voor eieren. Gebruik de prikker onderaan de maatbeker om een klein gaatje in de bolle kant van het ei te maken. Dit voorkomt dat de eieren barsten tijdens het koken.
