Kahve makinenizi kullan›rken aﬂa¤›daki temel güvenlik önlemlerini mutlaka göz önünde bulundurman›z gerekmektedir:

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your coffee maker, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance.

2. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

3. Before connecting the coffee maker, check if the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside of coffee maker and base unit) corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the coffee maker.

4. Switch off the coffee maker before filling, emptying or cleaning, or when not in use.

5. Do not overfill as boiling water may be ejected. The maximum level is marked on the

water level indicator.MAX: 300ML.

6. Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surfaces (such as gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).

7. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or a counter. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.

8. Avoid touching hot coffee maker surfaces – use the body handle only.

9. Extreme caution must be used when moving the coffee maker containing hot water.

Always use the body handle.

10. To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this coffee maker, power base or cord set in any liquid.

11. Use the coffee maker only with the supplied base unit. Do not use the base unit for other purposes.

12. To protect against fire, do not operate in the presence of explosive and / or flammable fumes.

13. Do not use the coffee maker for any purpose other than heating water.

14. This product has not been designed for any other uses other than those specified in

this booklet.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. After taking the coffee maker out of the pack, insert the handle into the handle connector.(figure 1)

2. By using your coffee maker, you can prepare coffee.

3. Before first use, fill the coffee maker with clean water to maximum capacity and boil.

Discard the water and repeat the process.

4. The coffee maker should always be unplugged when filling or adding water.

5. Fill the coffee maker with water to the desired level. Do not overfill or there will be a

risk of spillage or spitting. The water level indicator will assist you to measure the correct amount.

6. Put sufficient quantity of cold water into your coffee maker according Max.300ML

7. Place the appliance onto the power base unit, and switch on the coffee maker by simply

pressing on/off switch

8. At this time mix your coffee for one or two times using stainless steel measuring and mixing spoon

9. When the coffee starts bloating out, turn off the appliance and pour a little coffee into

the cups (for foam)

10. Replace your appliance onto the power base unit and restart the coffee maker, then pour the coffee to the cup when the prepared coffee bloats out again.

11. You can prepare coffee in different measures according to your personal taste.

12. An automatic safety cut-out has been fitted for protection against running dry. If you

do not put in enough water, or switch on when it is empty, the safety cut-out will switch off the power automatically. If this happens, wait a few minutes for the element to cool, then refill and use as normal.

13. Place the power base on a dry, flat surface. Place the coffee maker on the power base. The electrical connection will be made automatically as the coffee maker slides onto the power base.

14. Plug the cord set into an earthed power socket and switch on by depressing the switch of the coffee maker to the “ON” position.

15. After allowing the coffee maker to cool down for 15 – 20 seconds, the water can be brought back to the boil by pushing the switch back to the “ON” position. During the cooling down time do not force the on/off switch into the “ON” position as this can damage the operating mechanism.

16. Do not remove the coffee maker from the power base without switching off first.

17. Remember, if you do not wish to re-boil the coffee, switch it off.

18. The coffee maker may be switched off manually at any time by setting the on/off

switch into the “OFF” position.

19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

20. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR COFFEE MAKER

Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powers. Never immerse the coffee maker in water or other liquids. From time to time, dependent on the nature of your water supply, a lime scale deposit is naturally formed and can be found mostly adhered to the heating element, thus reducing the heating capacity. The amount of lime scale deposited (subsequently the need to clean or rescale) largely depends on the water hardness in your area the frequency with which the coffee maker is used. Lime scale is not harmful to your health. But if poured into your beverage, it can give a powdery taste to your drink. Therefore, the coffee maker should be descaled periodically as indicated below:

DESCALING

Descale coffee maker regularly. With normal use: at least twice a year.

1. Fill the coffee maker up to “MAX” with a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts water. Switch on and wait for the appliance to switch off automatically.

2. Let the mixture remain inside the coffee maker overnight.

3. Discard the mixture the next morning.

4. Fill the coffee maker with clean water up to “MAX” mark and boil again.

5. Discard the boiled water to remove any remaining scale and vinegar.

6. Rinse the inside of the coffee maker with clean water.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

Lorsque vous utilisez votre machine de café turc, vous devez absolument considérer les précautions principales de sécurité citées ci-dessous:

1. Lisez attentivement le manuel en entier lors même que vous connaissez l’appareil.

2. Cet appareil est conçu pour usage domestique ou pour applications similaires indiquées

ci-dessous :

- Magasins, offices et salles communes d’autres lieux de travail;

- Par les invités eux-mêmes dans les hôtels, motels et d’autres aires de stationnement;

3. Avant de brancher la machine de café à la source d’alimentation, assurez-vous que le niveau de voltage indiqué sur l’étiquette de l’appareil (se trouve au dessous de la machine de café et de l’unité de base) est le même que le niveau de voltage de votre résidence. Si ce n’est pas le cas, mettez-vous en contact avec votre vendeur et n’utilisez pas la machine de café.

4. Positionnez la machine de café sur « arrêt » avant de ne le remplir, de ne le vider, de ne le nettoyer ou de ne le ranger.

5. Étant donné que l’eau qui boue peut éclabousser à l’extérieur, ne remplissez pas l’appareil excessivement. Le niveau d’eau maximum est indiqué sur l’indicateur de niveau d’eau. MAX: 300 ml.

6. Ne mettez aucune pièce de cet appareil sur des surfaces chaudes. (four électrique ou à gaz, ou fours chauds).

7. Ne permettez pas le cordon pendre du bord de la table ou de l’établi. Ne permettez pas les cordons être en contact avec des surfaces chaudes.

8. Ne vous contactez pas avec les surfaces chaudes de la machine de café. Utilisez uniquement la manche qui se trouve sur le corps.

9. Soyez très attentif lorsque vous portez la machine de café contenant de l’eau chaude. Soulevez absolument en la saisissant de la manche se trouvant sur le corps.

10. Afin d’éviter de subir un choc électrique, la machine de café, la base électrique ou le cordon ne doivent jamais être trempés dans l’eau.

11. Utilisez la machine de café uniquement avec l’unité qui est fourni avec. N’utilisez pas l’unité de base à d’autres fins.

12. Pour éviter le danger d’incendie, ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil à proximité des gaz explosifs et/ou inflammables.

13. N’utilisez pas la machine de café à des fins autres que l’échauffement d’eau.

1. Une fois que vous avez retiré la machine de café de son emballage, montez la manche à sa pièce de connexion. (illustration 1)

2. Vous pouvez cuire le café turc en utilisant la machine de café.

3. Avant la première utilisation, remplissez la machine de café avec de l’eau propre

jusqu’au niveau maximum. Déversez l’eau bouillante et répétez l’opération.

4. La machine de café doit être toujours débranchée lorsque vous y remplissez de l’eau.

5. Remplissez de l’eau dans la machine de café jusqu’au niveau que vous désirez. Pour

ne pas causer de danger d’éclaboussement ou de giclée, ne remplissez pas l’appareil d’une façon excessive. L’indicateur d’eau vous aidera à mesurer la bonne quantité d’eau.

6. Remplissez de l’eau froide dans la machine de café maximum jusqu'au niveau de 300 ml.

7. Installez l’appareil sur la semelle électrique et faites fonctionner l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton de Marche/Arrêt.
