‹LK KULLANIMDAN ÖNCE

1) Üst kapa¤› aç›n›z ve tatl› suyla doldurunuz. Su seviyesi gösterge üzerinde bulunan azami seviye (max) iﬂaretini aﬂmamal›d›r.

2) Huniyi huni tutaca¤›na yerleﬂtirdikten sonra düzgün ﬂekilde tak›l›p tak›lmad›¤›n› kontrol ediniz. Bu ad›mlara iliﬂkin ayr›nt›lar k›lavuzun sonunda yer alan ﬂekillerde gösterilmektedir. Filtreyi düzgünce tak›n›z.

3) Filtrenin içine çekilmiﬂ kahve koyunuz. Bir bardak kahve için bir silme kaﬂ›k çekilmiﬂ kahve koyunuz, bu miktar› iste¤inize göre ayarlayabilirsiniz. Üst kapa¤› yerine tak›n›z.

4) Termos kapa¤›n› bast›r›n ve saat yönünde çevirerek kapat›n. Daha sonra çelik termosu ›s› iletmez tabana yatay olarak yerleﬂtirin.

5) Fiﬂi prize tak›n›z.

M‹NERAL KALINTILARININ TEM‹ZLENMES‹

Kahve makinenizin düzgün bir ﬂekilde çal›ﬂmaya devam etmesi için, oturdu¤unuz yerdeki suyun kalitesi ve cihaz› kullan›m s›kl›¤›yla ba¤lant›l› olarak sudan kalan mineral kal›nt›lar›n›n aﬂa¤›da belirtilen ﬂekilde düzenli olarak temizlenmesi gerekir:

1. Hazneyi su ve kireç sökücü ile hazne üzerinde belirtilen MAX seviyesine kadar doldurunuz (su ve kireç çözücü oran› 4:1, ayr›nt›l› bilgi kireç çözücünün kullan›m talimat›nda belirtilmiﬂtir). Lütfen “ev tipi kireç çözücü” kullan›n›z, kireç çözücü yerine sitrik asit de kullanabilirsiniz (yüz ölçek suya üç ölçek sitrik asit).

2. Çelik termosu tabana tak›n›z, termosun merkez çizgisinin kahve süzme sepetiyle ayn› hizada olmas›na dikkat ediniz.

3. Dü¤meyi aç›n›z, gösterge yanmaya baﬂlayacakt›r. Bir süre sonra su otomatik olarak damlamaya baﬂlayacakt›r.

4. Bir barda¤a yak›n su cihazdan süzüldükten sonra cihaz› kapat›n›z.

5. Çözeltiyi 15 dakika süresince cihazda beklettikten sonra 3-5 ad›mlar›n›

tekrarlay›n›z.

6. Cihaz› aç›n ve su haznesi tamamen boﬂalana kadar çal›ﬂt›r›n›z.

7. Cihaz› sadece su kullanarak 3 kez çal›ﬂt›r›n›z.

1. Haz›rlad›¤›n›z kahvenin lezzetli olmas› için kahve makinesinin temiz olmas›

gerekmektedir. Kahve makinesini “TEM‹ZL‹K VE BAKIM” bölümünde aç›klanan ﬂekilde düzenli olarak temizleyiniz. Kahve makinesinde mutlaka tatl› ve so¤uk su kullan›n›z.

2. Kullanmad›¤›n›z çekilmiﬂ kahveleri serin ve kuru bir yerde saklay›n›z. Çekilmiﬂ kahve paketini ilk açt›ktan sonra a¤z› yeniden s›k›ca kapat›p buzdolab›nda saklayarak kahvenin tazeli¤ini yitirmemesini sa¤lay›n›z.

3. En ideal kahve tad›n› elde etmek için kahveyi çekirdek olarak al›p piﬂirmeye baﬂlamadan hemen önce ince bir ﬂekilde kendiniz çekin.

4. Kullanm›ﬂ oldu¤unuz çekilmiﬂ kahveyi yeniden kullanmaya kalk›ﬂt›¤›n›z

Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following:

1. Read all instructions.

2. Before using check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to rated

voltage marked on the rating plate.

3. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.

4. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.

5. Do not place the coffee maker on hot surface or beside fire in order to avoid to be damaged.

6. Remove plug from wall outlet before cleaning and when not in use. Allow appliance cool down completely before taking off, attaching components or before cleaning.

7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

8. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons do not immerse cord, plug, in water or other liquid.

9. Place appliance on flat surface or table, do not hang power cord over the edge of table or counter.

10. Ensure the power cord do not touch hot surface of appliance.

11. Some parts of appliance is hot when operated, so do not touch with hand.

Use handles or knobs only.

12. To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull the cord.

13. Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.

14. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.

15. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks or carafe

having a loose or weakened handle. Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is very fragile.

16. Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive

17. Never leave the empty carafe on the keeping warm plate otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.

18. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons

BEFORE FIRST USE

Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Add water into water tank to the MAX level and brew water for several times without coffee powder, then discard the water. Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with warm water.

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER

1) Open the top cover and fill fresh water. The water level should not exceed

max level as indicated on the water gauge.

2) Place the funnel into the funnel support, make sure it is assembled correctly. The detail steps refer to the figure at the end of instruction. Then put the filter correctly.

3) Add coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of coffee need a level spoon of

coffee powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste. Replace the top cover.

4) Press down the jug lid and turn it clockwise until it can not move any longer. Then insert the steel vacuum jug on adiabatic plate horizontally.

5) Plug the power cord into the outlet.

6) Turning on the switch, the indicator will be illuminated. The appliance will

begin working. The brewing process can be interrupted by shutting off the switch at any time. The appliance will continue brewing once the switch is turned on again. Note: you can take out jug and open the lid, pour and serve at any time. The appliance will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds.

7) Remove out jug to serve when finish brewing (about one minute later after the coffee stops dripping out.) Note: the coffee you get will less than the water you have added, as some water is absorbed by coffee powder.

8) Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply when not use. Note: Pay attention to pour the coffee out, otherwise you may be hurt as the temperature of coffee just finished is high.

9) The coffee can be kept warm in the steel vacuum jug, suggest the time of keeping warm is not more than 1 hour. For an optimum coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS

To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should clean away the mineral deposits left by the water regularly according to the water quality in your area and the frequency use the appliance, the detail is as follows:

1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX level in the gauge of coffee maker (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of descaler. Please use “household descaler”, you can use the citric acid instead of the descaler (the one hundred parts of water and three parts of citric acid).

2. Push steel vacuum jug on the base, pay attention to let center line of jug aligns with that of brew basket.

3. Turn on the switch and the indicator of it will be illuminated. After a while, water will drop out automatically.

4. After percolate the equivalent of one cup and then switch off the appliance.

5. Leave the solution work for 15 minutes, and then repeat the steps of 3-5

again.

6. Turn the appliance on and run off the water until the water tank is completely empty.

7. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.

HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE

1. A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly

clean the coffee maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.

2. Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.

3. For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them just before brewing.

4. Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee’ flavor.

Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor immediately after brewing.

5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder.

6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.
