CATATAN
Pembersih Udara menyedot udara dari saluran masuk, kemudian meneruskan udara
ke Pre-Filter, Filter Deodorizing dan Filter HEPA di dalam unit, lalu melepaskan
kembali udara melalui saluran keluar. Filter HEPA dapat menghilangkan 99,97%
partikel debu berukuran 0,3 micron yang melaluinya.
Filter Deodorizing secara bertahap menyerap bau saat melewati fi lter.
Bau yang diserap di fi lter dapat menghasilkan tambahan bau. Tergantung pada
faktor lingkungan, khususnya bila produk digunakan pada lingkungan yang memiliki
intensitas debu atau bau lebih kuat sehingga bau yang menempel menjadi lebih kuat
dalam waktu lebih singkat dari yang diperkirakan. Bila bau ini tidak hilang, fi lter-fi lter
harus diganti.
Fungsi Penangkap Nyamuk
Nyamuk tertarik pada sinar UV, bodi berwarna hitam dan jendela dengan ukuran yang
mudah untuk sembunyi di Panel Penangkap. Ketika nyamuk mendekat ke jendela
jebakan di Panel Penangkap, mereka terisap oleh aliran udara yang kuat, lalu mereka
tertangkap oleh Lembar Lem kuat yang terpasang di sisi dalam Panel Penangkap.
• Air purifi er dirancang untuk menyaring debu dan bau di udara, bukan gas-gas berbahaya
(contohnya karbon monoksida yang terkandung pada asap rokok). Bila sumber bau tetap ada,
pembersihan udara membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama.
• Mode Penangkap Nyamuk mungkin tidak akan menangkap semua nyamuk yang ada di dalam
ruang.
• Nyamuk yang tidak tertangkap di Lembar Lem mungkin lolos dari jendela Panel Penangkap,
jadi sedapat mungkin jangan matikan daya listrik ketika Penangkap Nyamuk sedang beroperasi
kecuali ketika mengganti fi lter dan Lembar Lem.

Saat menggunakan alat listrik, peringatan keselamatan dasar harus diikuti, termasuk
yang berikut ini:
PERINGATAN

Untuk mengurangi resiko kejutan listrik, kebakaran atau cedera pada orang :
•
Baca semua petunjuk sebelum menggunakan unit ini.
•
Hanya gunakan stopkontak 220 volt.
• Jangan gunakan unit bila kabel atau steker listrik rusak atau penyambungan ke
stopkontak kendor.
•
Bersihkan debu dari colokan secara berkala.
• Jangan memasukkan jari atau benda asing ke dalam saluran udara masuk atau
keluar.
• Saat melepas colokan listrik, selalu pegang kepala colokan dan jangan pernah
menarik kabelnya.
Bisa terjadi kejutan listrik dan/atau kebakaran akibat dari hubungan arus pendek.
• Berhati-hatilah agar tidak merusak kabel listrik, sebab dapat memicu sengatan listrik,
panas berlebihan atau kebakaran.
• Jangan mencabut steker listrik saat tangan anda basah.
• Jangan menggunakan unit dekat peralatan gas atau api.
• Lepaskan colokan listrik dari dinding sebelum membersihkan unit dan ketika tidak
menggunakan unit.
Bisa terjadi kejutan listrik akibat insulasi yang buruk dan/atau kebakaran akibat dari
hubungan arus pendek.
• Saat membersihkan unit atau unit tidak digunakan, pastikan mencabut steker
listriknya. Sengatan listrik dan/atau api dari hubung pendek bisa terjadi.
• Jika kabel listrik rusak, kabel harus diganti oleh pabrik, agen servisnya, Sharp
Approved Service Centre atau orang yang berpengalaman untuk menghindari
bahaya.
•
Jangan mengoperasikan unit saat menggunakan pembasmi serangga semprot atau di
dalam ruangan yang mengandung sisa-sisa minyak, semprotan minyak wangi, puntung
rokok, semprotan kimia atau di tempat yang memungkinkan unit basah, seperti kamar
mandi.
•
Berhati-hatilah saat membersihkan unit. Pembersih korosif bisa merusak permukaan luar
unit.
•
Hanya Pusat Service resmi SHARP yang seharusnya menangani servis air purifi er ini.
Hubungi Pusat Service terdekat bila dijumpai masalah, memerlukan pengaturan atau
perbaikan.
•
Peralatan ini dapat digunakan oleh anak-anak mulai usia 8 tahun dan orang dengan
kemampuan fi sik, sensorik atau mental yang lemah atau kurang memiliki pengalaman
dan pengetahuan selama mereka mendapatkan pengawasan dan petunjuk mengenai
penggunaan peralatan secara aman dan memahami bahaya yang tercakup di dalamnya.
Anak-anak dilarang bermain dengan peralatan ini. Pembersihan dan pemeliharaan oleh
pengguna tidak boleh dilakukan oleh anakanak tanpa pengawasan.
CATATAN

Gangguan gelombang Radio atau TV
Bila air purifi er ini mengakibatkan gangguan penerimaan radio atau TV, cobalah perbaiki
dengan salah satu atau lebih cara pencegahan berikut:
•
Pindahkan arah atau lokasi antena penerima.
•
Tambah jarak antara unit dan radio/ TV.
•
Sambungkan peralatan ke stopkontak yang berbeda jalur arusnya dimana penerima
dihubungkan.
•
Konsultasi ke dealer atau teknisi Radio/TV yang berpengalaman untuk membantu Anda.

PERHATIAN SAAT MENGOPERASIKAN
•
Jangan menghalangi saluran masuk/keluar udara.
•
JANGAN menggunakan unit dekat atau di atas benda panas, seperti kompor gas atau
pemanas, atau tempat dimana unit terkena uap air panas.
•
Jangan menggeletakkan unit di lantai saat menggunakannya.
• Selalu pegang handel di belakang unit ketika memindahkannya.
•
Jangan digunakan tanpa ada fi lter di dalam unit.
• Jangan mencuci dan menggunakan ulang fi lter HEPA, fi lter Deodorizing dan
Lembar Lem.
Bukan hanya tidak mampu memperbaiki kinerja fi lter, juga bisa berakibat
tersengat listrik atau kegagalan fungsi.
• Jangan melihat sinar UV secara langsung. Sinar UV memenuhi standar IEC (62471).
PERHATIAN TENTANG LEMBAR LEM
•
Penggunaan Lem dengan hati-hati. Cegah anak-anak atau hewan peliharaan menyentuh
permukaan yang lengket.
•
Jika lem menempel ke tangan atau pakaian, gosok dengan minyak goreng, cuci bersih
dengan sabun dan air.
•
Debu dan kotoran yang terkumpul di lembar lem dapat mengurangi keefektifan Lembar
Lem.
•
Jika tidak ada nyamuk di lembar lem, coba ganti lokasi unit ini.
•
Ketika membuang lembar lem, buang menurut hukum dan peraturan pembuangan
setempat.
•
Produk ini merupakan jenis produk perekat yang benar-benar aman. Tidak mengandung
bahan beracun.
PEDOMAN PEMASANGAN
•
Saat menggunakan, tempatkan unit jauh dari peralatan lain yang menggunakan listrik
seperti TV atau radio untuk mencegah gangguan kelistrikan.
• Hindari lokasi dimana furniture, kain atau item lainnya menutupi unit dan membatasi
aliran udara masuk dan/atau keluar.
• Hindari lokasi dimana unit terpapar kondensasi atau perubahan suhu yang drastis.
Kondisi yang ideal bila suhu ruang antara 0 – 35 ºC.
• Tempatkan di permukaan yang rata dengan sirkulasi udara yang cukup.
Saat menempatkan unit pada area berkarpet, unit mungkin berguncang lembut.
• Hindari lokasi dimana dihasilkan asap minyak atau gemuk.
Permukaan unit dapat retak.
• Tempatkan unit sekitar 30 cm (1 ft) menjauh dari dinding untuk menjamin aliran
udara mengalir lancar.
Kinerja pengumpulan debu akan tetap sama sekali pun jika unit digunakan sejauh 3 cm
dari dinding, tetapi tempatkan sejauh mungkin (30 cm jauh disarankan) sebab dapat
mengotori dinding atau lantai di sekitarnya.

dalam tas plastik. Pastikan untuk mengeluarkan filter dan Lembar Lem dari pembungkus plastik
sebelum menggunakan unit.

AUTO SLEEP MED MAX
Melepasakan ion Plasmacluster dengan kepadatan tingggi dan menyemburkan udara secara kuat
selama 60 menit.
BERSIHKAN UDARA

• Pilih kecepatan kipas yang diinginkan.
• Operasi akan dimulai dengan mode
sebelumnya, kecuali apabila kabel
listrik telah dilepas dari stopkontak.
ANTI DUST
MULAI
• Mode Anti Dust tersedia ketika menggunakan mode
penangkap nyamuk.
• Jika “Plasmacluster Ion OFF (mati), Ion Plasmacluster tidak
dilepaskan.
• Jika pengoperasian selesai, unit akan kembali ke mode
pengoperasian sebelumnya.
Unit dapat beralih ke mode lainnya dan selama mode
ini.

KECEPATAN KIPAS
SLEEP
• Unit akan beroprasi sangat tenang, dan kecepatan kipas
berubah secara otomatis, tergantung pada besarnya tingkat
polusi pada udara.
Ini akan meredupkan kecerahan lampu berikut.
Lampu CATCH (Tangkap) / Lampu UV LIGHT (Sinar
UV) / Lampu GLUE SHEET (Lembar lem) / SINAR UV di
belakang.
DUST/PLASMACLUSTER SIGN mati secara otomatis.
Meskipun lampu indikator mati, Ion Plasmacluster akan
tetap
dilepaskan ke udara kecuali jika fungsi Ion Plasmacluster
dimatikan dengan menekan selama 3 detik.
OTOMATIS
• Kecepatan kipas berubah secara otomatis, tergantung pada
besarnya tingkat kebersihan udara di ruangan. Sensor akan
mendeteksi polusi untuk mengefi siensikan penjernih udara.

PENANGKAP NYAMUK
Gunakan fungsi ini jika khawatir tentang nyamuk.
Ketika lampu UV LIGHT (Sinar UV) dinyalakan dan lampu GLUE SHEET (Lembar lem)
dinyalakan, lampu CATCH (Tangkap) menyala.
Ketika lampu UV LIGHT (Sinar UV) mati atau lampu GLUE SHEET (Lembar lem) berkedip, lampu
CATCH (Tangkap) mati.

• Lampu Glue Sheet lamp (Lembar lem) yang berkedip menandakan waktunya untuk mengganti
Lembar Lem.
Lembar Lem terdiri dari 3 lapisan dengan masing-masing lapisan dilaminasi. Ganti Lembar
Lem dengan melepaskan yang sudah digunakan. Ketika semua lapisan telah digunakan,
ganti dengan lembar baru.
Tekan tombol Penangkap Nyamuk selama 3 detik.
Lampu Glue Sheet (Lembar lem) berubah dari berkedip ke menyala.
• Lampu Lembar Lem ini berkedip setelah kurang lebih 1 bulan (24 jam x 30 hari) setelah tombol
Penangkap Nyamuk ditekan selama 3 detik.
• Ketika digunakan untuk pertama kali atau setelah memasukkan colokan ke stopkontak dan
menyalakan daya listrik, lampu Lembar Lem akan berkedip menurut setelan bawaannya.
Pasang Lembar Lem ke panel Penangkap (lihat halaman IN-7), lalu tekan tombol Penangkap
Nyamuk selama 3 detik.
• Nyamuk yang tidak tertangkap di Lembar Lem mungkin lolos dari jendela Panel Penangkap,
jadi sedapat mungkin jangan matikan daya listrik ketika Penangkap Nyamuk sedang beroperasi
kecuali ketika mengganti fi lter dan Lembar Lem.
Pilih mode Max untuk menangkap nyamuk dengan lebih efektif.
Semakin tinggi volume udaranya, semakin mudah untuk menangkap nyamuk.

AUTO RESTART

Usia fi lter dan periode penggantian didasarkan pada kondisi asap dari 5 batang rokok per
hari, dan tingkat pengumpulan debu yang berkurang setengahnya dibandingkan dengan fi lter
baru.
Usia fi lter bervariasi tergantung pada lingkungan ruangan, penggunaan, dan lokasi unit.
Kami sarankan penggantian fi lter sesering mungkin apabila produk digunakan dalam kondisi

NOTE
The air purifi er draws in room air from the air intake, passes the air through a Pre-
Filter, a Deodorizing Filter and a HEPA Filter inside of the unit, then discharges the air
through the air outlet. The HEPA Filter can remove 99.97% of dust particles as small
as 0.3 microns that pass through the fi lter and also helps absorb odours.
The Deodorizing Filter gradually absorbs odours as they pass through the fi lter.
Some odours absorbed by the fi lters may break down over time, resulting in additional
odour. Depending on the usage environment, especially when the product is used in
extreme environments (significantly more severe than normal household use), this
odour may become strong in a shorter period than expected. If the odour persists, the
fi lters should be replaced.
Mosquito Catcher function
Mosquitoes are attracted by UV light, black color body and easy-hiding sized window
of Catch Panel. When the mosquitoes come close to the trap window of Catch Panel,
they are sucked by the powerful airfl ow, then they are fi rmly caught by powerful Glue
Sheet attached to the inner side of Catch Panel.
• The air purifi er is designed to remove air-suspended dust and odour, but not harmful gases (for
example, carbon monoxide contained in cigarette smoke). If the source of the odour still exists,
the air purifi er may not completely remove the odour.
• Mosquito Catcher mode may not catch all the mosquitoes in the room.
• The mosquitoes which have not got caught in Glue Sheet might escape from the window of Catch
Panel, so please do not switch off the power while Mosquito Catcher is in operation as much as
possible except for exchanging fi lter and Glue Sheet.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed,

Use only a 220 volt outlet.
• Do not use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged or the connection to the
wall outlet is loosened.

Periodically remove dust from the power plug.

• When removing the power plug, always hold the plug and never pull the cord.
Electrical shock and/or fi re from short circuit may occur as a result.

Be careful not to damage the power cord, it may cause electric shock, excess heat or

• Do not remove the plug when your hands are wet.
• Do not use this unit near gas appliances or fi replaces.
• Remove the power plug from the wall outlet before cleaning the unit and when not
using the unit.
Electrical shock from bad insulation and/or fi re from short circuit may occur as a result.
• When cleaning the unit, or when the unit is not in use, be sure to unplug the unit.
Electrical shock and/or fi re from a short circuit may result.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, Sharp Approved Service Centre or similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.

Do not operate when using aerosol insecticides or in rooms where there is oily residue,
incense, sparks from lit cigarettes, chemical fumes in the air or in very high humidity
conditions, such as a bathroom.
•
Be cautious when cleaning the unit. Corrosive cleansers may damage the exterior.
•
Only a Sharp Authorized Service Centre should service this air purifier. Contact the
nearest Service Centre for any problems, adjustments, or repairs.
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Radio or TV Interference
If this air purifi er should cause interference to radio or television reception, try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the unit and radio/TV receiver.
•
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver
is connected.
•
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

CAUTIONS CONCERNING OPERATION
•
Do not block the intake and/or air outlet.
•
Do not use the unit near or on hot objects, such as stoves or heaters or where it may
come into contact with steam.
•
Do not lay the unit down when using.
• Always hold the handle on the back of the unit when moving it.
•
Do not use without the fi lters inside the unit.
• Do not wash and reuse the HEPA fi lter, the deodorizing fi lter and the Glue Sheet.
Not only does it not improve fi lter performance, it may cause electric shock or malfunction.
•
Do not look directly into the UV light. UV light meet the standards of IEC (62471).
CAUTIONS CONCERNING GLUE SHEET
•
Handle the Glue Sheet with care. Avoid children or pet from touching the sticky surface.
•
If the glue adhere to hands or clothing, rub with cooking oil, wash well with soap and
water.
•
Dust and dirt collecting on the sheet may reduce the effectiveness of Glue Sheet.
•
If no mosquitoes are collected on the sheet, try changing the location of this unit.
•
When disposal, dispose it according to the local disposal laws and regulations.
•
This is a completely safe adhesive type product. No toxic ingredients.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
• When using the unit, place it away from equipment utilizing electric waves such as
televisions or radios to avoid electrical interference.
• Avoid use in locations where furniture, fabrics or other items may come in contact
with and restrict the air intake and/or air outlet.
• Avoid use in locations where the unit is exposed to condensation or drastic
temperature changes. Appropriate conditions are when room temperature is
between 0 – 35 ºC.
•
Place on a stable surface with suffi cient air circulation.
When placing the unit on a heavily carpeted area, the unit may vibrate slightly.
• Avoid locations where grease or oily smoke is generated.
The unit surface may crack as a result.
• Place the unit about 30 cm(1 ft) away from the wall in order to ensure proper
airfl ow.
The dust collecting performance will be the same even if using the unit 3cm away from
the wall, but place it as far as possible(30cm away recommended) because it may dirty
the wall or fl oor around.

FILTER AND GLUE SHEET INSTALLATION
To maintain the quality of the fi lter and Glue Sheet, it is installed in the main unit and packed in plas-
tic bag. Be sure to remove the fi lter and Glue Sheet from the plastic bag before using the unit.

MOSQUITO CATCHER
Use this function to be worried about mosquito.
When UV LIGHT lamp is on and GLUE SHEET lamp is on, CATCH lamp is on.
When UV LIGHT lamp is off or GLUE SHEET lamp is fl ashing, CATCH lamp is off.

• Flashing Glue Sheet lamp indicates time to change Glue Sheet.
Glue Sheet comes in 3 layers with each layer laminated. Change the Glue Sheet by peel off
the used one. When all layers have been used, replace with a new sheet.
Press the Mosquito Catcher button 3 seconds.
Glue Sheet lamp change from fl ashing to lighting.
• This Glue Sheet lamp is flashing after approx. 1 month (24hours x 30 days) after pushing
Mosquito Catcher button 3 seconds.
• At the fi rst time of using it after inserting a plug in a socket and turning on the power, Glue Sheet
lamp will be fl ashing by default. Install Glue Sheet to catch panel (see page E-7), then press the
Mosquito Catcher button 3 seconds.
• The mosquitoes which have not got caught in Glue Sheet might escape from the window of
Catch Panel, so please do not switch off the power while Mosquito Catcher is in operation as
much as possible except for exchanging fi lter and Glue Sheet.
Select Max mode to catch mosquito more effectively.
The higher the air volume, the easier to capture a mosquito.

FILTER REPLACEMENT GUIDELINES
Do not wash and reuse the fi lter
The fi lter life and replacement period are based on the condition of smoking 5 cigarettes per
day and the dust collection power is reduced by half compared with that of new fi lter.
Filter life varies depending on the room environment, usage, and location of the unit.
We recommend to replace the fi lter more frequently if the product is used in a condition
signifi cantly severer than normal household use.

TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM REMEDY (not a malfunction)
Odours and smoke are not removed.
• Replace the fi lters if they appear to be heavily soiled.
(Ref. E-14)
The DUST SIGN illuminates green
even when the air is impure.
• The air could be impure at the time the unit was plugged in.
Unplug the unit, wait one minute, and plug the unit in again.
The DUST SIGN illuminates
orange or red even when the air is
clean.
• Sensor operation is affected if the dust sensor openings are
dirty or clogged. Gently clean the dust sensor openings. (Ref.
E-12).
A clicking or ticking sound is heard
from the unit.
• Clicking or ticking sounds may be audible when the unit is
generating ions.
The discharged air has an odour.
• Check to see if the fi lters are heavily soiled.
• Clean or replace the fi lters.
• Plasmacluster Air Purifi ers emit small traces of ozone which
may produce an odour.
The unit does not operate properly
when cigarette smoke is in the air.
• Is the unit installed in a location that is diffi cult for the sensor to
detect cigarette smoke?
• Is the dust sensor opening blocked or clogged?
(In this case, clean the opening.) (Ref. E-12)

1) UV LIGHT lamp lights in blue.
2) GLUE SHEET lamp lights in blue.
When UV LIGHT lamp is off or GLUE SHEET lamp is fl ashing,
CATCH lamp does not turn on.
UV LIGHT lamp is turned off.
• This lamp is the indicator of the UV Light at the back. If Catch
Panel comes off or is not properly set, UV light is automatically
turned off by Magnet Sensor. Please confi rm whether catch
panel is properly attached.
UV LIGHT lamp is fl ashing.
• UV Light has failed. Please call the service center authorized by
Sharp.
Before calling for service, please review the Troubleshooting chart below, since the problem may not be a
unit malfunction.

• Fan motor error. Turn the power OFF. Wait one minute, and
then turn the power ON.
