Mode Indicator

A green LED is used on the STR101–STR107 to indicate the mode in accordance with the following:

Comfort mode (On) is indicated by a steady green light..

Economy mode (Standby) is indicated by a flashing green light..

Unoccupied mode is indicated by the LED being off.

Bypass Button

A bypass button is provided on models STR103– STR107 to change from standby (economy)

or unoccupied mode to comfort mode.. When ­entering comfort mode, the symbol on the display shows a steady light.. When the bypass time expires, the symbol returns to its previous status again, provided that the feedback mode is connected.. Otherwise the symbol returns to the Off status after two hours..

Setpoint Offset Wheel

A setpoint offset wheel is provided on models STR103, STR104, STR106 and STR107 for adjusting­ the temperature setpoint offset..

The adjustment range may be set to the following­ limits (not applicable to STR106-3):

±1 ºC (±1.8 ºF)

±2 ºC (±3.6 ºF)

±3 ºC (±5.4 ºF)

±4 ºC (±7.2 ºF)

±5 ºC (±9.0 ºF)

The adjustment is done manually using the plastic keys on the back of the core-panel.. Increase/decrease limits are separately adjustable..

1.In the Xenta 100 series, this is only applicable­

for the TAC Xenta 101 VF and TAC Xenta 121 FC.

2.STR106 3 with a fixed range: +± 3 ˚C (centigrades only).

3.STR106 B has no icon on the Bypass button.

4.All three models use a 5 positions control wheel: A 0 I II III.

5.STR107 uses a 3 positions control wheel:

Auto Off On.

Wiring

The STR100–STR107 uses 2–10 wires for ­installation.. The wiring is easily accessible thanks to the plug-in concept..

Cables

Twisted pair, unshielded.. Min.. cross-sectional area: 0..7 mm² (AWG-19).. Max.. distance: 30 m (100 ft)..

Mounting

The units can be mounted directly onto the wall or fitted onto a wide variety of back-boxes.. The plug-in concept makes wiring quick and easy..

Maintenance

No maintenance is required for the wall module.. If necessary, the wall module may be cleaned with a soft cloth..
