This thermometer has a flexible measuring tip to provide

greater comfort and safety during measurement, particularly
in infants and persons who are asleep or have a reduced

­level of consciousness. The tip must not be bent more than

pas été mis hors service, il s’éteint automatiquement après
env. 10 minutes.

Mémoire

La dernière valeur mesurée est automatiquement mise en
mémoire. Pour afficher cette valeur, appuyez sur la touche
MARCHE/ARRÊT. Le thermomètre effectue d’abord un auto­test. La valeur mesurée enregistrée en dernier apparaît ensuite
pendant environ 2 secondes. Puis, la valeur de référence
«37 °C» («98,6 °F») et «Lo» s’affichent à l’écran. Le thermo
mètre est prêt à prendre une mesure et l’ancienne valeur
mesurée enregistrée est remplacée automatiquement par une
nouvelle.

gradi Fahrenheit (°F). Per l’impostazione, tener premuto il pul
sante durante l’accensione più a lungo di 2 secondi finché

Remplacement des piles

Le thermomètre médical contient une pile longue durée alcali
manganèse (LR41, 1,5 V) utilisable 2 ans environ. La pile doit
être changée quand

pareils électriques. L’élimination des piles est une
obligation légale qui vous incombe.

Sostituzione delle batterie

Il termometro clinico contiene una batteria alcalina al manga­nese di lunga durata (LR41, 1,5 V), con un’autonomia di circa 2
anni. La batteria deve essere sostituita quando appare la lettera

nel margine inferiore destro. Comprimere con le dita il coper­chio del vano batteria all’estremità dell’apparecchio e tirarlo con
forza all’indietro. Estrarre la batteria esausta e sostituirla con una
batteria dello stesso tipo. Il segno + sulla batteria deve essere
rivolto verso l’alto. Riapplicare quindi il coperchio sul vano batte
ria.
Smaltire le batterie esauste e completamente scariche negli
appositi punti di raccolta, nei punti di raccolta per rifiuti tossici
o presso i negozi di elettronica. Lo smaltimento delle batterie è
un obbligo di legge.
I simboli riportati di seguito indicano che le batterie contengono
sostanze tossiche. Pb = batteria contenente

Conservation/Elimination

En cas de non utilisation du thermomètre, le conserver dans son

Dans le cadre d’une utilisation médicale de l’appareil, des
contrôles techniques de mesure doivent être menés
avec les moyens appropriés. Pour obtenir des données
précises sur la vérification de la précision de l’appareil,
vous pouvez faire une demande par courrier au service
après-vente.
Dans l’intérêt de la protection de l’environnement, l’appareil ne

sich das Thermometer nach ca. 10 Min. automatisch ab.

Speicher

Der letzte Messwert wird automatisch gespeichert. Um diesen
Wert anzuzeigen drücken Sie die EIN/ AUS- Taste. Zunächst
führt das Thermometer einen Selbsttest durch. Danach er
scheint der zuletzt gespeicherte Messwert für ca. 2 Sek. An­schließend wird der Referenzwert von 37 °C (98,6 °F) und „Lo“
im Display angezeigt. Das Thermometer ist Messbereit und der
alte gespeicherte Messwert wird automatisch durch den neuen
Messwert ersetzt.

Messeinheit ändern

Sie können sich die Temperatur in Grad Celsius (°C) und Grad
Fahrenheit (°F) anzeigen lassen. Zum Einstellen halten Sie die
EIN/AUS-Taste beim Einschalten länger als 2 Sekunden ge
drückt bis sich die Messeinheit ändert. Der gespeicherte Wert
wird in der neuen Messeinheit angezeigt.

Batterienwechsel

Das Fieberthermometer enthält eine Langzeit Alkali-Mangan­Batterie (LR41, 1,5 V),für ca. 2 Jahre. Die Batterie muss ge
wechselt werden, wenn am rechten, unteren Rand erscheint.
Drücken Sie den Batteriefachdeckel am Ende des Gerätes mit
den Fingern zusammen und ziehen Sie ihn kräftig nach hinten
weg. Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie und ersetzen Sie diese
durch eine Batterie gleichen Typs. Das +Zeichen auf der Bat
terie muss nach oben zeigen. Stecken Sie anschließend den
Batterie fachdeckel auf das Gehäuse auf.
Die verbrauchten, vollkommen entladenen Batte
rien müssen Sie über speziell gekennzeichnete
Sammelbehälter, Sondermüllannahmestellen oder
über den Elektrohändler entsorgen. Sie sind ge

has been reached, an acoustic signal is heard, the “°C” (“°F”)
symbol stops flashing and the temperature measured is
displayed. As long as the measured temperature is below 32 °C
(89,6 °F), “Lo°C” (“Lo°F”) will appear. Higher temperatures will
be shown directly, e.g. 32,1 °C (89,8 °F). By prolonging the
length of measurement until after the acoustic signal, more ac
curate measurements can be obtained. In case the tempera ture
is measured in the armpit, the thermometer should be left in the
armpit for the recommended time of measurement, in spite of

the acoustic signal. If temperatures over 37,8 °C (100 °F) are
measured, a fever alarm sounds (short bleeping tones, 10 sec
onds long). If temperatures higher than 42,9 °C (109,2 °F) are

measured, the symbol for “Hi °C” (“Hi °F”) will appear. To prolong
the life of the battery, please switch off the thermometer by
briefly pressing the on/off key after the measurement. Otherwise
the thermometer will automatically switch off after 10 minu tes.

Memory

The last measured value will be stored automatically. Press the
ON/OFF button to display this value. The thermometer first carries
out a self test. Next the last stored measured value is displayed
for approx. 2sec and then the reference value of 37 °C (98,6 °F)
and “Lo” is shown on the display. The thermometer is ready to
take a measurement and the previously stored measurement
value is automatically replaced by the new measurement value.

Changing the measuring unit

The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) and
degrees Fahrenheit (°F). To set the measuring unit press and
hold the On/Off button for longer than 2 seconds when switch
ing on until the measuring unit changes.
The saved value is displayed in the new measuring unit.

вайте кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ нажатой более 2 секунд, пока
единица измерения не изменится. Сохраненное в памяти
значение указывается в новой единице измерения.

Замена батарейки

Термометр содержит щелочно-марганцевую батарейку
(LR41, 1,5 В), рассчитанную приблизительно на 2 года ра
боты. Батарейку необходимо заменить, если в правом ниж­нем углу появляется . Сдавите пальцами крышку отсека для
батареек на конце прибора и сильно сдвиньте ее назад Вы
тащите старую батарейку и замените ее новой такого же
типа. Символ «+» на батарейке должен быть обращен вверх.
Затем установите крышку на корпус.
Выбрасывайте использованные, полностью раз
ряженные батарейки в специальные контей­неры, сдавайте в пункты приема спецотходов
или в магазины электрооборудования. Закон
обязывает пользователей обеспечить утилизацию батареек.
Эти знаки предупреждают о наличии в батарейках токсич­ных веществ: Pb = свинец, Cd = кадмий, Hg = ртуть. Каса­ется данных батареек: Pb, Hg.

Desinfektions mittel nach Herstellerangaben. Andere Reinigungs mittel
oder Methoden können zu Funktionsstörungen oder Beschädigung des

Changing the battery

The clinical thermometer contains a long-lasting alkali-manga­nese battery (type LR41, 1.5 V) for approximately 2 years. The
battery has to be replaced when
