The hands free Renault Card works

without you even taking it out of your

return, unlock the doors by simply pulling

1. Airbags

New Laguna is fitted with third
generation twin thorax / pelvis
airbags with different pressures
and a double impact sensor in the
doors, for optimum protection in
the event of side impact. Exclusive
to Renault, this device enables the
airbag activation time to be halved.
In the event of frontal impact, you
can count on the auto-adaptive
airbag which deploys according to
your body shape, for even better
impact absorption.

2. Braking and road holding

Combining ease of use and
efficiency, the brakes make full
use of modern technology. Third
generation ABS is combined
with ESP (Electronic Stability
Programme) as well as the
optimum response Brake Assist
system. By increasing the brake
power as soon as an emergency
situation is detected, the Brake
Assist significantly reduces
stopping distances.

3. Front and rear
‘seatbelt fastened’ indicator

An indicator advises the driver of
whether the rear passengers have
fastened their seatbelts.
This device operates in addition
to the signal that warns when
the driver’s or front passenger’s
seatbelt is undone.

4. Restraint systems

The dual seatbelt pretensioner
system guarantees that New
Laguna’s passengers stay firmly
in their seats in the event of
sudden braking. It is linked to the
anti-submarining devices built
in under the seats.

LAGUNA GT

FOR MAXIMUM DRIVING PLEASURE AND COMPLETE EFFICIENCY.

(1) The 4Control chassis with
four-wheel-steering makes Laguna GT
exceptionally easy to handle in town
and superbly agile on country roads.
At lower speeds (below 38mph), the rear
wheels turn in the opposite direction to
the front wheels, up to an angle of 3.5°.

This brings two advantages: a smaller
turning circle for easy manoeuvring and
smaller steering wheel angles thanks to
a more direct steering.

Increased safety.

The 4Control computer combined
with the ABS and ESP system,
detects emergency situations and
instantly adapts the turning angle of
the rear wheels, making avoidance
manoeuvres easier and safer.
For example, in the event of
braking on mixed surfaces.

(2) At higher speeds (over 38mph), the
rear wheels turn in the same direction as
the front wheels, meaning that the rear
axle is perfectly in line with the trajectory
when cornering, for optimum stability.

New Laguna meets 3 criteria: the vehicle produces CO2 emissions lower than 140 g/km or operates on biofuels, it is manufactured
in an ISO 14001 certified factory, minimising its environmental impact, and it includes at least 5% recycled plastic in its plastic mass.

With , Renault displays its environmental commitment at every stage of the life cycle of the vehicle. The vehicle has been designed
in such a way that 95% of the materials used could have a second life (recyclable for other use or as a source of energy), and that pollution
control at the end of the vehicle’s life (in particular extraction of fluids) is made easier. Furthermore, this vehicle has parts made of recycled
plastic (8%) and renewable materials.

the cruise control and speed limiter are

The exceptional dual zone climate control

the system discreetly controls all the
settings. Soft, auto and fast modes allow
you to control the speed of air circulation

sensor automatically closes the air inlet
