Scan N’ View
You used the Scan N’ View feature to connect
your DVR to the Internet, your mobile devices
and your network.
To add more phones, tablets and computers,
use the QR Code window located in the Main
Menu. picture 5.5-1or use the QR Code label
on your DVR’s case.
The QR Code window shows a scanable QR
code along with the DVR’s serial number.

CONNECTING WITH MOBILE DEVICES
YOU WILL NEED: An Apple or Android wireless mobile device with QCView downloaded
and installed from iTunes or Google Play.
STEP 1
Launch the QCView app.
STEP 2

Tap on the “+” in the upper right.

Scan the QR code, enter your username, and
password.

Tap Save to return to the Device Manager.

Double-tap on + in a channel window to open

double-tapped on in Step 8.

CONNECTING USING A COMPUTER
ACCOUNT
STEP 1
Go to www.Q-SeeQCView.com using the
Safari, Chrome or Firefox browsers or the 32-bit
version of Internet Explorer on a PC.
NOTE! Macintosh computer users will
need to download the free SmartPSS
software from www.Q-See.com/Support
STEP 2
Log into your account (or create a new one using
the Sign Up Now button).

Enter your user name and password for the DVR.
