1. Field of application
Personal protective equipment (PPE).
Fall arrest body harness, work positioning and restraint belt and seat harness for
work at height.
This product must not be loaded beyond its strength rating, nor be used for any
purpose other than that for which it is designed.

This product must only be used by competent and responsible persons, or those
placed under the direct and visual control of a competent and responsible person.
Gaining an adequate apprenticeship in appropriate techniques and methods of
protection is your own responsibility.

which may occur during or following incorrect use of our products in any manner

3. Inspection, points to verify
Before each use
Harness
Check the webbing at the attachment points, at the adjustment buckles and at the
safety stitching.
Look for cuts in the webbing, wear and damage due to use, to heat, and to contact
with chemical products,etc.. Be particularly careful to check for cut threads.
Verify that the DoubleBack and FAST buckles operate properly.
Chest-seat harness connector
Make sure the frame, gate, hinge and locking sleeve are free of any cracks,
deformation, corrosion,etc.. Open the gate and verify that it closes and locks
correctly. The Keylock slot must not be blocked by any foreign matter (dirt,
pebble,etc.).

During each use
It is important to regularly monitor the condition of the product and its connections
to the other equipment in the system. Make sure that all pieces of equipment in the
system are correctly positioned with respect to each other.
4. Compatibility
Verify that this product is compatible with the other elements of the system in your
application (compatible= good functional interaction).
5. How to put the harness on
- Be sure to correctly stow the excess webbing (folded flat) in the retainers.
Be careful of foreign bodies which can impede the operation of the FAST buckles
(such as pebbles, sand, clothing...). Verify that the buckles are correctly fastened.
Chest-seat harness connector:
Do not use it to attach a lanyard or energy absorber.
ATTENTION DANGER, it must always be used with the gate closed and locked. Its
strength is greatly reduced if the gate is open.
Systematically verify the gate is closed by pressing it with your hand. Contaminants
such as mud, sand, paint, ice, dirty water,etc. can prevent the locking system from
working.
Initial adjustment of the dorsal attachment point:
This adjustment should be done only once when putting on your harness for the first
time. Have another person help you do it.
Adjust the position of the dorsal attachment point to suit your body shape and
size:position it at the level of the shoulder blades.
Adjustment and suspension test
Your harness must be adjusted to fit snugly to reduce the risk of injury in case of a
fall.
You must move around and hang in the harness from each attachment point, with
your equipment, to verify that the harness fits properly, provides adequate comfort for
the intended use and that it is optimally adjusted.
6. Fall arrest harness EN361:2002
Body harness for fall arrest, component of a fall arrest system in accordance with the
EN363 standard (personal fall arrest systems). It must be used in conjunction with
EN795 anchors, EN362 locking carabiners, EN355 energy absorber,etc..
6A. Sternal attachment point
6B. Dorsal attachment point
Only these points may be used to attach a fall arrest system, for example a mobile fall
arrester, an energy absorber, or other system described in the EN363 standard. For
ease of identification, these points are marked with the letter‘A’.
Clearance:amount of free space below the user
The clearance below the user must be sufficient to prevent the user from striking
any obstacle in case of a fall. Specific details on calculating clearance are found
in the technical notices for the other components (energy absorbers, mobile fall
arrester,etc.).
7. EN358:1999 harness for work
positioning and restraint
These attachment points are designed to either hold the user in position at the work
station, or to prevent the worker from entering a zone where a fall is possible. These
attachment points must only be used to attach to a restraint or work positioning
system, maximum fall height:0.5m.
These attachment points are not designed for fall arrest usage. It may be necessary
to supplement work positioning or travel restraint systems with collective or personal
fall arrest systems.
7A. Ventral attachment point
7B. Waistbelt side attachment points
Always use the two side attachment points together by linking them with a
positioning lanyard in order to be comfortably supported by the waistbelt.
7C. Rear restraint attachment point
This rear waistbelt attachment is designed only for attachment of a restraint system
to prevent the user from entering an area where a fall is possible.
Regularly check the effectiveness of the system during use (adjustment and
attachment elements).
8. Seat harness:
EN813:2008
Ventral attachment point
Nominal maximum load:140kg.
Designed for progression on rope and work positioning.
Use this ventral ring to attach a descender, positioning lanyards or progression
lanyards.
This attachment point should not be used to attach fall arrest systems.
9. Equipment loops
The equipment loops must only be used to attach and support equipment.
WARNING DANGER, never use equipment loops for belaying, rappelling, tying-in, or
anchoring a person.
10. Supplementary information regarding
standards EN365
Rescue plan
You must have a rescue plan and the means to rapidly implement it in case of
difficulties encountered while using this equipment.
Anchors
The anchor point for the system should preferably be located above the user’s
position and should meet the requirements of the EN795 standard (minimum
strength of 10kN).
Various
- In a fall-arrest system, it is essential to check the required clearance under the user
before each use, to avoid any impact with the ground or an obstacle in case of a fall.
- Make sure that the anchor point is correctly positioned, in order to limit the risk and
the height of a fall.
- A fall arrest harness is the only device allowable for supporting the body in a fall
arrest system.
- When using multiple pieces of equipment together, a dangerous situation can result
if the safety function of one piece of equipment is affected by the safety function of
another piece of equipment.
- WARNING DANGER, take care that your products do not rub against abrasive or
sharp surfaces.
- Users must be medically fit for activities at height. Warning, inert suspension in a
harness can result in serious injury or death.
- The instructions for use for each item of equipment used in conjunction with this
product must be respected.
- The instructions for use must be provided to users of this equipment in the
language of the country in which the product is to be used.
11. Petzl general information
Lifetime/ When to retire your equipment
For Petzl’s plastic and textile products, the maximum lifetime is 10years from the
date of manufacture. It is indefinite for metallic products.
WARNING:an exceptional event can lead you to retire a product after only one use,
depending on the type and intensity of usage and the environment of usage (harsh
environments, marine environment, sharp edges, extreme temperatures, chemical
products,etc.).
A product must be retired when:
- It is over 10years old and made of plastic or textiles.
- It has been subjected to a major fall (or load).
- It fails to pass inspection. You have any doubt as to its reliability.
- You do not know its full usage history.
- When it becomes obsolete due to changes in legislation, standards, technique or
incompatibility with other equipment,etc..
Destroy retired equipment to prevent further use.
Product inspection
In addition to the inspection before each use, an in-depth inspection must be carried
out by a competent inspector. The frequency of the in-depth inspection must be
governed by applicable legislation, and the type and the intensity of use. Petzl
recommends an inspection at least once every 12months.
To help maintain product traceability, do not remove any markings or labels.
Inspection results should be recorded on a form with the following details:type of
equipment, model, manufacturer contact information, serial number or individual
number, date of manufacture, date of purchase, date of first use, date of next
periodic inspection, problems, comments, the name and signature of the inspector.

Storage, transport
Store the product in a dry place away from exposure to UV, chemicals, extreme
temperatures,etc.. Clean and dry the product if necessary.
Modifications, repairs
Modifications and repairs outside of Petzl facilities are prohibited (except replacement
parts).
3-year guarantee
Against all material or manufacturing defect. Exclusions:normal wear and tear,
oxidation, modifications or alterations, incorrect storage, poor maintenance,
negligence, uses for which this product is not designed.
Responsibility

3. Contrôle, points à vérifier
Avant toute utilisation
Harnais
Vérifiez les sangles au niveau des points d’attache, des boucles de réglage et des
coutures de sécurité.
Surveillez les coupures, usures et dommages dus à l’utilisation, à la chaleur, aux
produits chimiques,etc.. Attention aux fils coupés.
Vérifiez le bon fonctionnement des boucles DoubleBack et FAST.
Connecteur torse-cuissard
Vérifiez sur le corps, le rivet et la bague de verrouillage, l’absence de fissures,
déformations, corrosion,etc.. Ouvrez le doigt et vérifiez qu’il se ferme et se verrouille
correctement. Le trou du Keylock ne doit pas être encombré (terre, cailloux…).

Pendant l’utilisation
Il est important de contrôler régulièrement l’état du produit et de ses connexions
avec les autres équipements du système. Assurez-vous du bon positionnement des
équipements les uns par rapport aux autres.
4. Compatibilité
Vérifiez la compatibilité de ce produit avec les autres éléments du système dans votre
application (compatibilité= bonne interaction fonctionnelle).
5. Mise en place du harnais
- Veillez à ranger correctement les surplus de sangles (bien plaqués) dans les
passants.
- Attention aux objets étrangers qui risquent de gêner le fonctionnement des boucles
rapides FAST (cailloux, sable, vêtements…). Vérifiez leur bon verrouillage.
Connecteur torse-cuissard :
Ne l’utilisez pas pour connecter une longe ou un absorbeur d’énergie.
ATTENTION DANGER, utilisez le toujours doigt fermé et verrouillé. Sa résistance
diminue fortement si le doigt est ouvert.
Vérifiez systématiquement le bon verrouillage du doigt en le pressant avec la main.
Des corps étrangers (boue, sable, peinture, glace, eau sale…) peuvent empêcher
le verrouillage.
Réglage initial du point dorsal :
Réalisez ce réglage une seule fois, lors de la première mise en place de votre harnais,
en vous faisant aider par une autre personne.
Ajustez le réglage de ce point d’attache dorsal à votre morphologie :positionnez-le au
niveau des omoplates.
Réglage et test de suspension
Votre harnais doit être ajusté proche du corps pour réduire le risque de blessure en
cas de chute.
Vous devez effectuer des mouvements et un test de suspension sur chaque point
d’attache, avec votre matériel, pour être sûr qu’il soit de la bonne taille et du niveau
de confort nécessaire pour l’usage attendu et que le réglage soit optimum.
6. Harnais antichute EN361 :2002
Harnais complet pour besoins antichute, composant d’un système d’arrêt des chutes
selon la norme EN363 (systèmes de protection individuelle contre les chutes de
hauteur). Il doit être utilisé en combinaison avec des ancrages EN795, mousquetons
à verrouillage EN362, absorbeur EN355,etc..

Seuls ces points servent à connecter un système d’arrêt des chutes, par exemple
un antichute mobile sur corde, un absorbeur d’énergie…, systèmes décrits dans la
norme EN363. Pour mieux les identifier, ces points sont marqués de la lettreA.
Tirant d’air :hauteur libre sous l’utilisateur
La hauteur libre sous l’utilisateur doit être suffisante pour qu’il ne heurte pas
d’obstacle en cas de chute. Les calculs spécifiques de tirant d’air sont détaillés dans
les notices techniques des autres composants (absorbeurs d’énergie, antichute
mobile…).
7. Harnais de maintien au travail et retenue
EN358 :1999
Ces points d’attache sont destinés soit à maintenir l’utilisateur en position à son
poste de travail, soit à empêcher l’utilisateur d’atteindre un emplacement d’où
une chute est possible. Ces points d’attache doivent être utilisés uniquement pour
l’accrochage à un système de maintien au travail, ou système de retenue, hauteur de
chute maximum :0,5m.
Ces points d’attache ne sont pas conçus pour des utilisations antichute. Il peut être
nécessaire de compléter les systèmes de maintien au travail, ou de retenue, par des
moyens de protection contre les chutes de hauteur de type collectif ou individuel.
7A. Point d’attache ventral
7B. Points d’attache latéraux de ceinture
Utilisez toujours les deux points d’attache latéraux ensemble en les reliant par une
longe de maintien pour être en appui confortablement dans la ceinture.
7C. Point d’attache arrière de retenue

Utilisez cet anneau ventral pour connecter un descendeur, des longes de maintien,

Ce point d’attache n’est pas adapté pour l’arrêt des chutes.

Les porte-matériels doivent être utilisés pour le matériel uniquement.

Plan de secours
Prévoyez les moyens de secours nécessaires pour intervenir rapidement en cas de
difficultés.
Amarrages
L’amarrage du système doit être de préférence situé au-dessus de la position de
l’utilisateur et répondre aux exigences EN795 (résistance minimum 10kN).
Divers
- Dans un système d’arrêt des chutes, il est essentiel de vérifier l’espace libre requis
sous l’utilisateur, avant chaque utilisation, afin d’éviter toute collision avec le sol, ou
un obstacle, en cas de chute.
- Veillez à ce que le point d’amarrage soit correctement positionné, afin de limiter le
risque et la hauteur de chute.
- Un harnais d’antichute est le seul dispositif de préhension du corps qu’il soit permis
d’utiliser dans un système d’arrêt des chutes.
- Un danger peut survenir lors de l’utilisation de plusieurs équipements dans laquelle
la fonction de sécurité de l’un des équipements peut être affectée par la fonction de
sécurité d’un autre équipement.
- ATTENTION DANGER, veillez à ce que vos produits ne frottent pas sur des
matériaux abrasifs ou pièces coupantes.
- Les utilisateurs doivent être médicalement aptes aux activités en hauteur.
ATTENTION, être suspendu et inerte dans un harnais peut déclencher des troubles
physiologiques graves ou la mort.
- Les instructions d’utilisation définies dans les notices de chaque équipement
associé à ce produit doivent être respectées.
- Les instructions d’utilisation doivent être fournies à l’utilisateur de cet équipement
dans la langue du pays d’utilisation.
11. Généralités Petzl
Durée de vie / Mise au rebut
Pour les produits Petzl, plastiques et textiles, la durée de vie maximale est de 10ans
à partir de la date de fabrication. Elle n’est pas limitée pour les produits métalliques.
ATTENTION, un événement exceptionnel peut vous conduire à rebuter un
produit après une seule utilisation (type et intensité d’utilisation, environnement
d’utilisation :milieux agressifs, milieu marin, arêtes coupantes, températures
extrêmes, produits chimiques,etc.).
Un produit doit être rebuté quand :
- Il a plus de 10ans et est composé de plastique ou textile.
- Il a subi une chute importante (ou effort).
- Le résultat des vérifications du produit n’est pas satisfaisant. Vous avez un doute
sur sa fiabilité.
- Vous ne connaissez pas son historique complet d’utilisation.
- Quand son usage est obsolète (évolution législative, normative, technique ou
incompatibilité avec d’autres équipements,etc.).
Détruisez ces produits pour éviter une future utilisation.
Vérification du produit
En plus des contrôles avant chaque utilisation, faites réaliser une vérification
approfondie par un vérificateur compétent. Cette fréquence de la vérification doit être
adaptée en fonction de la législation applicable, du type et de l’intensité d’utilisation.
Petzl vous conseille une vérification au minimum tous les 12mois.
Ne retirez pas les étiquettes et marquages pour garder la traçabilité du produit.
Les résultats des vérifications doivent être enregistrés sur une fiche de suivi :type,
modèle, coordonnées fabricant, numéro de série ou numéro individuel,
dates :fabrication, achat, première utilisation, prochains examens périodiques ;
notes :défauts, remarques ; nom et signature du contrôleur.

Stockage, transport
Stockez le produit au sec, à l’abri des UV, produits chimiques, dans un endroit
tempéré,etc.. Nettoyez et séchez le produit si nécessaire.
Modifications, réparations
Les modifications et réparations sont interdites hors des ateliers de Petzl (sauf pièces
de rechange).

Persönliche Schutzausrüstung (PSA).
Komplettgurt zum Auffangen eines Sturzes, Haltegurt zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung
und Rückhaltung und Sitzgurt für die Höhenarbeit.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht über seine Grenzen hinaus belastet werden. Es darf
ausschließlich zu dem Zweck verwendet werden, für den es entworfen wurde.

Aktivitäten, bei denen diese Ausrüstung zum Einsatz kommt, sind
naturgemäß gefährlich.
Für Ihre Handlungen und Entscheidungen sind Sie selbst

3. Überprüfung, zu kontrollierende Punkte
Vor jedem Einsatz
Gurte
Überprüfen Sie das Gurtband an den Befestigungsösen, an den Einstellschnallen und
die Sicherheitsnähte.
Überprüfen Sie, ob das Verbindungsmittel Schnitte, Abrieb oder sonstige Schäden
aufweist, die auf Abnutzung, Hitze oder Kontakt mit chemischen Produktenusw.
zurückzuführen sind. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Fäden durchtrennt sind.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die DoubleBack- und FAST-Schnallen richtig funktionieren.
Verbindungselement Brustgurt/Sitzgurt
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Körper, Schnapper und Verriegelungshülse keine Risse,
Verformungen, Korrosionserscheinungenusw. aufweisen. Öffnen Sie den Schnapper
und stellen Sie sicher, dass er beim Loslassen schließt und sich automatisch
verriegelt. Der Keylock-Schlitz darf nicht durch Fremdkörper blockiert sein (Schmutz,
Kieselusw.).

Sollten irgendwelche Zweifel hinsichtlich des Zustands eines Produkts bestehen,
senden Sie es zur Überprüfung an Petzl.
Während des Gebrauchs
Es ist unerlässlich, den Zustand des Produkts und seiner Verbindungen mit anderen
Ausrüstungsgegenständen im System regelmäßig zu überprüfen. Stellen Sie stets
sicher, dass die einzelnen Ausrüstungsgegenstände im System richtig zueinander
positioniert sind.
4. Kompatibilität
Überprüfen Sie die Kompatibilität dieses Produkts mit den anderen Elementen Ihres
Systems (Kompatibilität= funktionelles Zusammenspiel).
5. Anlegen des Gurts
- Verstauen Sie das überstehende Gurtband in den Riemenhaltern, so dass es flach
anliegt.
- Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Fremdkörper die Funktion der FAST-Schnallen
beeinträchtigen (Kiesel, Sand, Kleidung...). Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Schnallen
richtig schließen.
Verbindungselement Brustgurt/Sitzgurt:
Verwenden Sie es nicht zum Befestigen eines Verbindungsmittels oder Falldämpfers.
ACHTUNG, GEFAHR: Es darf nur mit geschlossenem und verriegeltem Schnapper
verwendet werden. Seine Festigkeit wird bei geöffnetem Schnapper beträchtlich
reduziert.
Stellen Sie systematisch sicher, dass der Schnapper verriegelt ist, indem Sie mit der
Hand dagegen drücken. Fremdkörper (Schlamm, Sand, Farbe, Eis, schmutziges
Wasserusw.) können die Verriegelung behinder n.
Erstmaliges Einstellen der rückseitigen Auffangöse:
Diese Einstellung sollte vorgenommen werden, wenn Sie den Gurt zum ersten Mal
anlegen. Lassen Sie sich von einer zweiten Person helfen.
Passen Sie die Position der dorsalen Auffangöse an Ihre individuelle Körperform und
-größe an: Positionieren Sie diese auf Höhe der Schulterblätter.
Einstellung und Hängetest
Ihr Auffanggurt sollte gut an Ihre Körperform angepasst sein und eng anliegen, um im
Falle eines Sturzes die Verletzungsgefahr zu verringern.
Sie sollten herumgehen und sich an jeder Halteöse mitsamt Ihrer Ausrüstung in
den Gurt hängen (Hängetest), um sicherzustellen, dass der Gurt richtig sitzt, beim
Gebrauch angemessenen Komfort bietet und optimal eingestellt ist.
6. Auffanggurt EN361:2002
Auffanggurt, Bestandteil eines Auffangsystems in Übereinstimmung mit der Norm
EN363 (Persönliche Schutzausrüstung gegen Absturz: Auffangsysteme). Er
muss zusammen mit EN795-Anschlagpunkten, EN362-Verbindungselementen,
EN355-Falldämpfern usw. verwendet werden.
6A. Vordere Auffangöse auf Brusthöhe
6B. Rückseitige Auffangöse
Verbinden Sie nur diese Ösen mit einem Auffangsystem (z.B. ein mitlaufendes
Auffanggerät, ein Falldämpfer oder andere in der Norm EN363 beschriebene
Systeme). Zur leichteren Identifizierung sind diese Ösen mit dem Buchstaben„A“
markiert.
Sturzraum: hindernisfreier Raum unterhalb des Benutzers
Der Sturzraum unter dem Anwender muss so bemessen sein, dass dieser im Falle
eines Sturzes auf kein Hindernis trifft. Einzelheiten zum Berechnen des Sturzraums
finden Sie in den Gebrauchsanleitungen der anderen Komponenten (Falldämpfer,
mitlaufendes Auffanggerätusw.).
7. EN358:1999 Haltegurt zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung und zum Rückhalten
Diese Befestigungspunkte dienen entweder zum Positionieren des Benutzers am
Arbeitsplatz oder sie verhindern, dass der Benutzer eine Zone betritt, in der ein Sturz
möglich ist. Sie dürfen ausschließlich zum Befestigen eines Rückhaltesystems oder
zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung verwendet werden, die Sturzhöhe darf maximal 0,5m
betragen.
Diese Halteösen sind nicht als Auffangösen geeignet. Gegebenenfalls müssen die
Arbeitsplatzpositionierungs- oder Rückhaltesysteme durch kollektive oder persönliche
Vorrichtungen zum Schutz vor Abstürzen aus der Höhe ergänzt werden.
7A. Zentrale Halteöse
7B. Seitliche Halteösen
Verwenden Sie die beiden seitlichen Halteösen möglichst zusammen, indem Sie ein
Verbindungsmittel zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung in diese einhängen.
7C. Rückseitige Öse zum Rückhalten
Diese rückseitige Öse des Gurts dient ausschließlich dazu, den Anwender von der
Absturzkante fernzuhalten.
Kontrollieren Sie die Effizienz des Systems regelmäßig während des Einsatzes
(Einstell- und Befestigungselemente).
8. Sitzgurt:
EN813:2008
Zentrale Halteöse
Maximale Arbeitslast:140kg.
Zum Aufstieg am Seil und zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung.
Verwenden Sie diese zentrale Halteöse zum Befestigen eines Abseilgerätes oder
Verbindungsmitteln zur Arbeitsplatzpositionierung oder Verbindungsmitteln zur
Fortbewegung.
Verwenden Sie diese Befestigungsöse nicht zum Befestigen von Auffangsystemen.
9. Materialschlaufen
Die Materialschlaufen dürfen nur zum Transportieren von Material verwendet werden.
ACHTUNG GEFAHR, die Materialschlaufen nicht zum Sichern, Abseilen, Anseilen
oder Einhängen an einem Anschlagpunkt verwenden.
10. Ergänzende Angaben zu den Normen
EN365
Rettungsplan
Der Benutzer muss für eventuelle Schwierigkeiten, die während der Anwendung
dieses Produkts auftreten können, Rettungsmöglichkeiten planen.
Anschlageinrichtungen
Der Anschlagpunkt des Systems muss oberhalb des Benutzers angebracht sein
und den Anforderungen der Norm EN795 entsprechen. Die Mindestbruchlast des
Anschlagpunkts muss 10kN betragen.
Verschiedenes
- In einem Auffangsystem ist vor jeder Benutzung sicherzustellen, dass genügend
Sturzraum unter dem Anwender vorhanden ist, so dass er im Falle eines Sturzes
nicht auf den Boden oder auf ein Hindernis schlägt.
- Achten Sie darauf, dass der Anschlagpunkt richtig positioniert ist, um das Risiko
und die Höhe des Sturzes zu reduzieren.
- In einem Auffangsystem ist zum Halten des Körpers ausschließlich ein Auffanggurt
zulässig.
- Werden mehrere Ausrüstungsgegenstände zusammen verwendet, kann es zu
gefährlichen Situationen kommen, wenn die Sicherheitsfunktion eines Gegenstands
durch einen anderen Ausrüstungsgegenstand behindert wird.
- ACHTUNG GEFAHR: Achten Sie darauf, dass die Produkte nicht an rauen
Materialien oder scharfkantigen Gegenständen reiben.
- Anwender müssen für Aktivitäten in der Höhe gesundheitlich in guter Verfassung
sein. WARNUNG, das regungslose Hängen in einem Gurt kann zu schweren
Verletzungen oder sogar Tod führen (Hängetrauma!).
- Die Gebrauchsanleitungen für jeden Ausrüstungsgegenstand, der zusammen mit
diesem Produkt verwendet wird, müssen unbedingt befolgt werden.
- Die Gebrauchsanleitungen in Landessprache müssen allen Benutzern dieser
Ausrüstung zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
11. Petzl Allgemeines
Lebensdauer / Aussondern von Ausrüstung
Die maximale Lebensdauer von Kunststoff- und Textilprodukten der Firma Petzl
beträgt 10Jahre ab dem Herstellungsdatum. Für Metallprodukte ist sie unbegrenzt.
ACHTUNG, außergewöhnliche Umstände können die Aussonderung eines Produkts
nach einer einmaligen Anwendung erforderlich machen (Art und Intensität der
Benutzung, Anwendungsbereich: aggressive Umgebungen, Meeresklima, scharfe
Kanten, extreme Temperaturen, Chemikalienusw.).
In folgenden Fällen muss ein Produkt ausgesondert werden:
- wenn es mehr als 10Jahre alt ist (Kunststoff- und Textilprodukte)
- nach einem schweren Sturz (oder Belastung)
- das Überprüfungsergebnis ist nicht zufriedenstellend, das Produkt fällt bei der
Überprüfung durch. Sie bezweifeln seine Zuverlässigkeit
- die vollständige Gebrauchsgeschichte ist nicht bekannt
- das Produkt ist veraltet (Änderung der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen, der
Normen und der technischen Vorschriften, Inkompatibilität mit anderen
Ausrüstungsgegenständenusw.)
Zerstören und entsorgen Sie diese Produkte, um ihren weiteren
Gebrauch zu verhindern.
Überprüfung des Produkts
Lassen Sie zusätzlich zu der Überprüfung vor jedem Einsatz eine gründliche
Überprüfung durch eine sachkundige Person durchführen. Die Häufigkeit dieser
Überprüfung hängt von den anwendbaren gesetzlichen Bestimmungen sowie von
der Art und der Intensität des Gebrauchs ab. Petzl empfiehlt, diese Überprüfung
mindestens alle 12Monate durchführen zu lassen.
Entfernen Sie keine Etiketten oder Kennzeichnungen, um die Rückverfolgbarkeit des
Produkts zu gewährleisten.
Die Ergebnisse dieser Prüfung werden in den Prüfbericht eingetragen: Typ, Modell,
Kontaktinformation des Herstellers, Seriennummer oder individuelle Nummer,
Daten: Herstellung, Kauf, erste Anwendung, nächste regelmäßige Überprüfung,
Anmerkungen: Probleme, Bemerkungen, Name und Unterschrift des Prüfers.

Lagerung, Transport
Das Produkt an einem trockenen, vor UV-Strahlen und Chemikalien geschützten Ort
bei gemäßigten Temperaturen aufbewahren. Falls nötig reinigen und trocknen Sie es.
Änderungen, Reparaturen
Änderungen und Reparaturen außerhalb der Petzl-Betriebsstätten sind nicht gestattet
(außer Ersatzteile).
3Jahre Garantie
Auf Material- und Fabrikationsfehler. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind: normale
Abnutzung, Oxidation, Änderungen oder Nachbesserungen, unsachgemäße
Lagerung, unsachgemäße Wartung, Nachlässigkeiten und Anwendungen für die das
Produkt nicht bestimmt ist.
