Built for true business-level faxing, the
UF-580 scans documents quickly at a rate
of 3 seconds per page. In combination
with the 30-sheet automatic document
feeder, this makes it possible for you to
fax a multi-page document at the touch
of a button without having to wait around.

High-Speed Transmission

As soon as the first page of a document set has been scanned, the UF-580 starts dialling.
Quick Memory Transmission immediately transmits the scanned data to the destination.
Fully compliant with the ITU-T V.34 standard, the UF-580’s 33.6 kbps Super G3 fax
modem transmits a full-page image in as few as 3 seconds. Even better, if you’re
communicating with another Panafax, exclusive Super Quick Handshaking kicks in,
dramatically reducing the actual time required for the two faxes to exchange information.

The document flash memory retains image and fax data even
during power blackouts or brownouts. Once power is restored,
the UF-580 will resume all pending files, giving you worry-free
fax transmission. The already high-volume 2 MB standard memory
can hold up to 120pages*\ Optional2*^/4*^/8*^ MB flash memory
cards allow capacity to be expanded to 280, 440, or even 760

pages to ensure smooth,

continuous operation no matter
how large the volume of
documents being received.
