The control panel of this unit is divided into three equal parts: left, middle, and right.
Left part:

on the 5 button. Below the keypad are three buttons in a horizontal row: the left one is the FLASH button,
the middle one is the REDIAL button, and the right one is the MUTE button. The REDIAL button is also
the PAUSE button.
Middle part:
At the top of the middle part of the panel is a smooth surface. This is the display. On the lower right
below of the display is the AUTO ANSWER button. Below and on the left-hand side of this are two more
buttons: The oval one on the left is the MENU button and the circular one on the right is the HELP button.
Below the MENU button is a long rectangular button. This is the MONITOR button. To the right of these
buttons is the NAVIGATOR, which is a large cross key with four active areas. The active areas are the 12
o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock positions. The 12 and 6 o’clock positions are the PLUS and
MINUS keys repectively. These are also the VOLUME control increase and decrease keys. The 3 and 9
o’clock positions are the RIGHT and LEFT arrow keys.
Right part:
This part is a vertical row of controls. At the top is the CALLER ID button. Below this are oval buttons.
The top one marked with an indented triangle is the STOP button. The one below, marked with an
indented page icon is the COPY button. Below these buttons is a large button with a “nib”, marked with
