Sie haben sich mit Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent für eine elektrische
Zahnbürste der neusten Generation entschieden. Panasonic
DentaCare Sonodent entfernt Plaque gründlich, ist dabei trotzdem
fühlbar sanft zu Ihren Zähnen und Ihrem Zahnfleisch. Dies ist die
Voraussetzung für gesunde Zähne bis ins hohe Alter.

Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent Technologie

Sonodent unterscheidet sich von herkömmlichen Zahnbürsten in der
hohen Geschwindigkeit der Bürstenbewegung. Mit max. 31.000
Seitwärtsbewegungen pro Minute reinigt Panasonic DentaCare
Sonodent Ihre Zähne besonders gründlich und effektiv. Dies wird
ermöglicht, dank der integrierten, hochmodernen
Linearmotortechnologie.

Weitere Besonderheiten

Im Lieferumfang enthalten: Eine spezielle Drei-Kopf-Zahnbürste.
Hiermit können Sie schnell und effektiv die Zähne an allen Seiten
gleichzeitig reinigen: Innen-, Außen- und Kaufläche.

Integrierter Timer: Die Zahnbürste schaltet sich nach 2 Minuten
kurzzeitig aus und anschließend wieder ein. Diese Timer-Funktion
fördert die Einhaltung der Mindestreinigungszeit von 2 Minuten.

Drucksensor-Technik: Um Ihre Zähne und Ihr Zahnfleisch zu schützen,
verringert sich automatisch die Schwingungsintensität der Bürste, wann
immer Sie diese zu stark andrücken.

VOR DEM ERSTEN GEBRAUCH

Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent basiert auf der neuartigen Linarmotor­Technologie. Dank dieser Technik reinigt Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent
ihre Zähne mit bis zu 31.000 Bürstenkopfbewegungen pro Minute.

• Ein festes Andrücken der Borsten an Ihre
Zähne während der Zahnreinigung ist hierbei
nicht mehr erforderlich.

• Beim ersten Gebrauch von Sonodent können
Sie eventuell ein leichtes Kitzeln oder Kribbeln
empfinden, welches durch die Hochgesch­windigkeitsvibration verursacht wird. Dieses
Gefühl läßt erfahrungsgemäß nach
mehrmaligem Verwenden der Zahnbürste nach.

Aufstellen der Ladestation
Kabel

Legen Sie das Kabel in die linke oder rechte Kabel­führung, je nachdem wo Sie die Ladestation aufstellen.

Aufstellen in der Nähe eines
Waschbeckens oder auf einem Regal

Stellen Sie die Ladestation auf eine
ebene, feste Unterlage. Stecken Sie den
Stecker in eine Steckdose.

Befestigung an einer Wand

1. Überlegen Sie sich, wo Sie die Ladestation anbringen
wollen, und befestigen Sie den Wandhalter mit Hilfe der
beiliegenden Schrauben an der Wand.

2. Schieben Sie die Ladestation von oben auf den Wandhalter.

3. Stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose.

ACHTUNG:

• Plazieren Sie das Ladegerät so ordnungsgemäß, das es

nicht mit Wasser in Kontakt kommen kann (z.B. kein
fließendes Wasser; gefülltes Waschbacken/Wanne).

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht mit nassen Händen aus

der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Netzspannungen mit

100-240 V Wechselstrom.

LADEN DES GERÄTS

In folgenden Fällen müssen Sie Ihre Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent
mindestens 15 Stunden lang aufladen:

1) vor dem ersten Gebrauch;

2) falls Sie die Zahnbürste länger als drei Monate nicht gebraucht haben;
oder

3) falls die Zahnbürste während der Verwendung nicht mehr genügend
Leistung hat.

Schalten Sie die Zahnbürste vor dem Ladevorgang aus.

Die Zahnbürste muss aufrecht in der
Ladestation stehen.

Die Ladeanzeige beginnt zu leuchten.

• Die Zahnbürste wird jedes Mal aufgeladen,
wenn sie in die Ladestation gestellt wird.

• Die Ladeanzeige hört nicht auf zu leuchten,
auch wenn die Zahnbürste komplett geladen
ist.

• Wenn die Batterie komplett aufgeladen ist,
kann die Zahnbürste etwa 50 Minuten lang
verwendet werden.

• Die Betriebsdauer verkürzt sich mit dem
Alter der Batterie.

ACHTUNG:

Legen Sie keine Metallgegenstände wie Münzen oder Büroklammern auf
die Ladestation. Sie können sich stark erhitzen.

HINWEIS:

• Die Zahnbürste erwärmt sich während des Aufladevorgangs. Dies ist
normal.

• Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Ladegerät.

• Wenn die Zahnbürste nur für kurze Zeit funktioniert, obwohl sie komplett

aufgeladen ist bedeutet dies, dass die Batterie bald das Ende ihrer
Lebenszeit erreicht hat. Lassen Sie die Batterie von einem autorisiertem
Kundendienst ersetzen.

4. Wenn Sie den sanften Betriebsmodus verwenden möchten,
drücken Sie erneut die Ein/Aus-Taste.

• Durch mehrmaliges Drücken der Ein/Aus-Taste wird der

Betriebsmodus zunächst auf 2 “Normal”, dann auf →

1 “Sanft” und dann auf → “Aus” gestellt.

VERWENDUNG

1. Setzen Sie den Bürstenkopf fest auf den Bürstenadapter.

• Zwischen der Bürste und dem Hauptgerät befindet sich ein

kleiner Spalt. Dies ist normal und dient dazu, dass der Kopf
ungehindert schwingen kann.

2. Geben Sie Zahncreme auf die Zahnbürste.

3. Drücken Sie zum Einschalten der Zahnbürste die Ein/Aus-

Taste.

• Durch die “Soft-Start”-Funktion dauert es etwa 2 Sekunden,

bis die Zahnbürste nach dem Einschalten ihre volle
Geschwindigkeit erreicht.

5. Wenn Sie das Zähneputzen beendet haben, drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-
Taste, um die Zahnbürste auszuschalten.

• Vergessen Sie nicht die Zahnbürste auszuschalten, bevor Sie sie aus

dem Mund nehmen, damit kein Schaum verspritzt wird.

• Für die erstmalige Verwendung.

• Bei empfindlichen Zähnen oder

Zahnfleisch.

• Wenn Sie den normalen Betriebs­modus als zu stark empfinden.

Bürsten

Federkernbürste:

Durch eingearbeitete Federn unterhalb der
Borsten paßt sich die Bürste optimal der
Zahnoberfläche an. Beim Reinigen der Zähne
gelangen Sie gleichzeitig spielend in kleinste
Zahnzwischenräume. (Siehe Seite 10.)

Drei-Kopf-Zahnbürste:

• Bürstet die Zähne an allen Seiten
gleichzeitig: Innen- , Außen- und Kaufläche.

• Speziell entwickelt, um die schwer zu
erreichenden Backenzähne optimal zu
reinigen.

Putzdauerhinweis

Die Zahnbürste hält nach 2 Minuten kurz an und startet dann erneut. Dies
dient zur Erinnerung an die empfohlene 2-minütige Putzdauer.

Funktion zur Verhinderung von zu hohem Anpressdruck

Diese besondere Funktion wird aktiviert, falls Sie die Bürste zu stark an Ihre
Zähne drücken. Hierbei wird die Vibrationsintensität automatisch verringert,
um Ihre Zähne und Ihr Zahnfleisch vor zu hohem Druck zu schützen.

VORSICHT:

Während der ersten zwei oder drei Tage, an denen Sie diese Zahnbürste
verwenden, kann es zu Zahnfleischbluten kommen. Dies hört in der Regel
nach kurzer Zeit auf. Wenn Sie nach mehr als einer Woche immer noch
Zahnfleischbluten haben, verwenden Sie die Zahnbürste nicht weiter und
wenden Sie sich an Ihren Zahnarzt.

HINWEIS:

Es wird empfohlen, den Bürstenkopf alle 3 Monate auszuwechseln,
besonders wenn die Borsten zur Seite gebogen sind. Denn dann arbeitet
die Zahnbürste nicht mehr effektiv.

VERWENDUNGSHINWEISE Federkernbürste

Es reicht ein sanftes Andrücken der
Bürste an hre Zähne.
Am effektivsten arbeitet Sonodent, wenn
Sie langsame, kreisförmige Bewegungen
durchführen.

Vordere Zähne und Übergang zum Zahnfleisch:

• Halten Sie die Zahnbürste im 45°-Winkel.

Zahninnenseite und schief stehende Zähne:

• Halten Sie die Zahnbürste senkrecht.

• Bewegen Sie die Bürste entsprechend des

Winkels der Zähne.

Kaufläche:

• Halten Sie die Bürste parallel zur Kaufläche (im
90°-Winkel).

Hintere Backenzähne:

• Verwenden Sie die Bürstenspitze.

ACHTUNG:

• Drücken Sie am Übergang zwischen Zahn und Zahnfleisch nicht zu fest
auf. Wie bei jeder anderen Bürste auch halten Sie Sonodent nicht für
längere Zeit an einer Stelle. Dies kann andernfalls die Zähne oder das
Zahnfleisch beschädigen. Falls Sie schwere Zahn- oder Zahnfleischer­krankungen haben, fragen Sie Ihren Zahnarzt, bevor Sie dieses Produkt
verwenden.

• Bringen Sie nur die Borsten, nicht den Plastikkopf, in Kontakt mit Ihren
Zähnen. Andernfalls können Ihre Zähne oder das Zahnfleisch beschädigt
werden.

1. Setzen Sie die Bürste auf die Frontzähne.

• Setzen Sie die Bürste fest auf, so dass
die Spitzen der Borsten bis zum

Übergang zum Zahnfleisch heranreichen.

• Wenn Sie die Bürste zuerst auf die

Backenzähne aufsetzen, können Sie die
Zähne nicht richtig mit der Bürste
bedecken.

2. Bewegen Sie die Bürste parallel zu den
Zähnen und bürsten Sie die Zähne in
Richtung der Backenzähne.

• Bewegen Sie die Zahnbürste langsam

und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang 2 oder
3 Mal.

3. Bürsten Sie alle Zähne, indem Sie die
Schritte 1 und 2 wiederholen.

Bedecken der Zähne mit der Zahnbürste

Beide Seiten der Zahnbürste sollten bis zum
Übergang zum Zahnfleisch heranreichen.

Wenn Sie das Gefühl haben, die Zahnbürste
passt nicht richtig auf Ihre Zähne

Drehen Sie die Bürste ein bisschen, bis die Bürste
Ihre Zähne fest umschließt. (Dies hilft bei den
vorderen Zähnen.)

VERWENDUNGSHINWEISE Drei-Kopf-Zahnbürste

Setzen Sie die Bürste erst auf die vorderen Zähne und bewegen Sie sie
dann zu den hinteren Zähnen.

1. Die Zahnbürste mit Wasser abwaschen und danach das Wasser gut
abschütteln.

2. Den Bürstenaufsatz in das Aufbewahrungsfach zurückstecken.

3. Das Handgerät mit einem Tuch abwischen. Hartnäckige Flecken mit
Wasser abwaschen.

• Das Handgerät nicht über längere Zeit

in Wasser tauchen.

• Nach dem Abwaschen mit einem Tuch

trocken wischen.

• Die wasserdichte Gummidichtung nicht

zerkratzen oder beschädigen. Hierdurch
könnte Wasser eindringen und das
Handgerät beschädigen.

4. Das Handgerät in das Ladegerät stellen.

Wenn sich der Markierungsring lösen sollte, bringen Sie ihn wieder an, wie
in der Abbildung dargestellt.

• Den Markierungsring nicht mit Gewalt

abziehen, da er leicht zerbrechen kann.

• Der Gebrauch der Zahnbürste ohne den

Markierungsring wirkt sich nicht auf die
Eigenschaften aus; der Ring dient
lediglich zur persönlichen Unterscheidung
des eigenen Bürstenaufsatzes.

Aufbewahrungsfach der Bürstenaufsätze
ACHTUNG:

Vor dem Reinigen des Geräts muss der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
gezogen werden. Das Nichtbeachten kann einen Stromschlag oder andere
Verletzungen zur Folge haben.

verwenden.

• Keine starken Chemikalien, wie Verdünner, Benzin oder Alkohol
verwenden, da diese die Oberfläche entfärben.

Etwa halbjährlich die Steckerstifte des Netzsteckers mit einem trockenen
Tuch abwischen.

ACHTUNG:

• Das Ladegerät nicht mit Wasser waschen oder eintauchen.

• Den Netzstecker regelmäßig säubern. Angesammelter Schmutz und

Staub können zu Stromschlägen führen oder die Wirksamkeit der Isolation
beeinträchtigen, wodurch eine Überhitzung oder auch ein Brand möglich
werden.

WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORKEHRUNGEN

Bei der Verwendung von Elektrogeräten, besonders in der Gegenwart
von Kindern, sollten grundlegende Sicherheitsvorkehrungen wie die
folgenden getroffen werden.

GEFAHR — Vermeiden von Stromschlägen:

1. Verwenden Sie das Ladegerät nicht während des Badens/Duschens.

2. Platzieren Sie das Ladegerät nicht an Orten, von denen es in eine
Badewanne oder ein Waschbecken fallen oder gezogen werden
kann.

3. Lassen Sie das Ladegerät nicht in Wasser oder eine andere
Flüssigkeit fallen.

4. Greifen Sie nicht nach dem Gerät, wenn es ins Wasser gefallen ist.
Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker.

WARNUNG — Vermeiden von Verbrennungen, Stromschlägen,

Bränden oder Verletzungen:

1. Besondere Vorsicht gilt, wenn das Produkt von oder in der Nähe von
Kindern verwendet wird.

2. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur für den in dieser Anleitung
beschriebenen Zweck.
Verwenden Sie keine Zusatzgeräte, die nicht vom Hersteller
empfohlen wurden.

3. Verwenden Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall, wenn das Kabel oder der
Stecker beschädigt ist, wenn es nicht richtig funktioniert, wenn es
heruntergefallen ist oder beschädigt wurde, oder wenn es ins
Wasser gefallen ist. Senden Sie das Gerät an einen Kundendienst,
um es prüfen und ggf. reparieren zu lassen.

4. Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Gegenständen und heißen Flächen.

6. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien, oder in Räumen, in denen
Sprays verwendet werden oder in denen Sauerstoff verabreicht wird.

WARNUNG — Vermeiden von Verletzungen

1. Falls Sie einen Herzschrittmacher oder andere elektronische,
medizinische Implantate verwenden, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt zu Rate
ziehen, bevor Sie dieses Produkt benutzen. Dieses Produkt kann
den Betrieb derartiger Geräte beeinflussen und zu gefährlichen
medizinischen Zwischenfällen führen.

2. Dieses Produkt sollte nicht von Kleinkindern, verwendet werden.

3. Verwenden Sie die Zahnbürste nicht für lose Zahnprothesen oder
Zähne, die sich zur Zeit in Behandlung befinden. Berühren Sie
außerdem keine wunden oder andere empfindliche Stellen im Mund.
Ansonsten kann es zu Verschlimmerungen kommen.

4. Verwenden Sie diese Zahnbürste nicht zusammen mit Zahncremes,
die eine große Menge grobe Putzpartikel zum Entfernen von
Verfärbungen oder Bleichmittel enthalten. Andernfalls können Ihre
Zähne oder das Zahnfleisch beschädigt werden.

5. Falls Sie an Zahn- oder Zahnfleischerkrankungen leiden oder sich in
zahnärztlicher Behandlung befinden, sollten Sie Ihren Zahnarzt zu
Rate ziehen, bevor Sie dieses Produkt verwenden.

6. Wenn Sie Zahnschmerzen oder Schmerzen am Zahnfleisch haben,
können Sie diese Zahnbürste möglicherweise nicht verwenden und
sollten sich an Ihren Zahnarzt wenden.

7. Während der ersten zwei oder drei Tage, an denen Sie diese
Zahnbürste verwenden, kann es zu Zahnfleischbluten kommen. Dies
hört erfahrungsgemäß nach kurzer Zeit auf. Wenn Sie nach mehr als
einer Woche immer noch Zahnfleischbluten haben, verwenden Sie
die Zahnbürste nicht weiter und wenden Sie sich an Ihren Zahnarzt.

ENTSORGUNG DES PRODUKTS

Dieses Produkt wird von einer recyclebaren Nickelmetallhydrid-Akku
(NiMH) angetrieben. Informationen zum Recyceln der Batterie erhalten Sie
bei autorisieren Kundendiensten.

WARNUNG:

Bauen Sie das Produkt nur zum Entsorgen auseinander. Nichtbeachtung
kann zu Kurzschlüssen, Brand oder Verletzungen führen.

Entfernen des Nickelmetallhydrid-Akkus (NiMH) vor der Entsorgung des
Produkts

• Entleeren Sie den Akku vollständig. , bevor Sie ihn entfernen.

• Lösen Sie die Schraube am Boden des Geräts mit einem

Schraubenzieher.

• Halten Sie die Zahnbürste am Griff und entfernen Sie die durch die
Nummern q, w und e in der Abbildung gekennzeichneten Teile.

• Achten Sie darauf, keine Verbindung zwischen dem Plus- und dem
Minuspol des Akkus herzustellen (Kurzschluß !).

BEFORE USE

This high-speed, vibrating, electric toothbrush is different from conventional
electric toothbrushes. Therefore:

• You only need to lightly press the bristles
against your teeth for brushing.

• When first using this product, some people
experience a tickling or tingling sensation
caused by the high-speed vibrations.
The sensation should subside after you use the
toothbrush several more times.

Installing the charger
Cord

Place the cord in either the right or left cord guide,
depending on where the charger will be placed.

Installing near a sink or on a shelf

Place the charger on a level, secure
surface. Insert the plug into an electrical
outlet.

Mounting on the wall

1. Decide where you want to mount the charger, and then
attach the wall-mounted holder to the wall using the
enclosed wood screws.

2. Slide the charger from above into the wall-mounted holder.

3. Insert the plug into an electrical outlet.

CAUTION:

• Do not use the charger in a shower stall or other area with

running water that can come in direct contact with the
charger.

• Do not remove the plug from the electrical outlet with wet

hands.

• Be sure to use only a 100-240 VAC power supply.

CHARGING THE UNIT

Be sure to charge the main unit for at least 15 hours:

1) before using for the first time;

2) when you have not used the toothbrush for more than three months; or

3) if the toothbrush runs out of power during use.
Be sure to turn off the toothbrush before charging.

Place the toothbrush upright in the charger.

The charging indicator will light up.

• The toothbrush charges whenever it is
placed in the charger.

• The indicator light does not go off even
after the toothbrush is fully charged.

• The toothbrush will provide about 50
minutes of use when the battery is fully
charged.

• The operating duration will become shorter
as the battery gets older.

CAUTION:

Do not leave metal objects, such as coins or paper clips, on top of the
charger. They may become very warm.

NOTE:

• During charging, the toothbrush will get warm, but this is normal.

• Use only the exclusive charger provided.

• If the toothbrush operates only for a short time after being fully charged,

this means that the battery is nearing the end of its life cycle. Take the unit
to an authorised service centre to have the battery replaced.

4. When you want to use the soft mode, press the on/off button

again.

• Pressing the on/off button toggles the operational mode in
the order of 2 “Normal” → 1 “Soft” → “Off”.

HOW TO USE

1. Place the brush head firmly onto the toothbrush shaft.

• There is a small space between the brush and the main unit.
This is normal and is necessary for the head to vibrate
properly.

2. Place the toothbrush in your mouth.

• Apply toothpaste to the toothbrush, if desired, before turning
the power on to prevent the toothpaste from spattering.

3. Press the on/off button to turn on the toothbrush.

• When the toothbrush first starts, the “soft-start” function
causes it to take about 2 seconds to reach its normal speed.

5. When you have finished brushing, press the on/off button to turn off the
power.

• To prevent foam from spattering, turn the toothbrush off before

removing it from your mouth.

Brushing duration notification timer

The toothbrush stops temporarily after 2 minutes of use, and starts again.
This reminds you that you should brush your teeth for about 2 minutes.

Strong pressure preventive function

Pressing the brush bristles too hard against your teeth will activate this
feature, causing the intensity of the vibration to be weakened automatically
as a safeguard against excessive pressure.

PRECAUTION:

You may experience bleeding of the gums for the first 2 or 3 days of using
this toothbrush, but such bleeding should stop. If the bleeding persists for
more than a week, stop using this toothbrush and consult your dentist.

NOTE:

Replacing the brush head every 3 months is recommended.
If the bristles are bent to one side, the toothbrush is not very effective for
brushing. Replace the brush with a new one when the bristles are bent or
worn.

TIPS ON USE Float Brush

Brush carefully between teeth or around
teeth that are not straight.
Place the bristles of the toothbrush gently
against your teeth.
Move the brush slowly as if you are
drawing small circles.

Front teeth, and between teeth and gums:

• Place the bristles at 45°.

Brush the back of teeth or where teeth are not
straight:

• Brush vertically.

• Move the toothbrush to match the angle of the

teeth.

Brush the chewing surface of teeth:

• Brush at a 90° angle.

Far end of back teeth (molars)

• Use the tips of the brush.

CAUTION:

• Do not press the brush hard where the teeth meet the gums. Do not keep
the brush in one spot for a long time. Doing so may damage the teeth or
gums. People with severe tooth or gum diseases should consult their
dentist before using this product.

• Allow only the bristles, not the plastic head, to touch your teeth. Failure to
observe this precaution may damage the teeth or gums.

• Be sure to place the brush firmly so that
the tips of the bristles cover the area
between your teeth and gums.

• If you place the brush on the back teeth
first, you will not be able to cover the
teeth correctly with the brush.

2. Move the brush parallel to the teeth and
brush the teeth toward the molars (back
teeth).

• Move the brush slowly and repeat 2-3

times.

3. Brush all teeth, repeating steps 1 and 2

Covering the teeth with the brush

Both sides of the brush should cover the area
between the teeth and gums.

If you feel that the brush does not fit your teeth
properly

Angle the brush slightly until you feel the brush
touching your teeth securely. (This is effective for
the front teeth.)

First place the brush on the front teeth and then move towards the back
teeth.

AFTER USE

Toothbrush

1. Wash the toothbrush with water and shake well to remove the water.

2. Return the brush to the brush storage case.

3. Use a cloth to wipe off the main unit. Wash hard-to-remove stains with
water.

• Do not submerge the main unit in water

for a long time.

• After washing with water, wipe dry

with a cloth.

• Do not scratch or damage the water-

proof rubber seal. Doing so may allow
water to seep inside and damage the
main unit.

4. Place the main unit on the charger.

If the identification ring comes off, put it back on as shown.

• Do not forcibly pull the identification ring since it can break easily.

• Using the toothbrush without the

identification ring has no effect on
performance; the ring is simply for user
identification purposes.

MAINTENANCE

Be sure to remove the power plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning
the product. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock or other injury.

• Do not wash or submerge the charger in water.

• Clean the power plug periodically. Dirt and dust buildup may cause

electrical shock or reduce the effectiveness of the insulation, thus resulting

in overheating and a fire.

AVANT UTILISATION

Cette brosse à dents électrique à vibrations haute vitesse diffère des
brosses à dents électriques classiques. Par conséquent :

• une légère pression des poils sur les dents
suffit pour un brossage efficace ;

• lors des premières utilisations de ce produit,
certaines personnes peuvent avoir une
sensation de chatouillement ou de picotement
due aux vibrations haute vitesse ;
cette sensation devrait toutefois disparaître
après quelques utilisations.

Installation du chargeur
Cordon

Faire passer le cordon dans le guide-cordon droit ou
gauche suivant l’endroit où va être installé le chargeur.

Installation près d’un évier ou sur
une étagère

Poser le chargeur sur une surface
horizontale sûre. Brancher le cordon
dans une prise électrique.

Fixation au mur

1. Déterminer l’endroit où installer le chargeur et y fixer le
support mural à l’aide des vis à bois fournies.

2. Glisser le chargeur de haut en bas dans le support mural.

3. Brancher le cordon dans une prise électrique.

ATTENTION :

• Ne pas utiliser le chargeur dans une cabine de douche ou

autre endroit où de l’eau courante pourrait entrer en

RECHARGE DU CORPS DE BROSSE

Charger le corps de la brosse pendant 15 heures minimum :

1) avant la première utilisation ;

2) lorsque la brosse à dents n’a pas été utilisée depuis plus de trois mois ou

3) si la brosse à dents s’arrête en cours d’utilisation.
S’assurer d’avoir éteint la brosse à dents avant de la recharger.

Poser la brosse à dents à la verticale sur le
chargeur.

L’indicateur de charge s’allume.

• La brosse à dents se charge dès qu’elle est
placée sur le chargeur.

• Le témoin lumineux ne s’éteint pas, même
lorsque la brosse à dents est complètement
rechargée.

• Une batterie pleine fournit une autonomie
d’environ 50 minutes.

• Cette durée d’autonomie diminue au fur et
à mesure du vieillissement de la batterie.

ATTENTION :

Ne pas laisser d’objets métalliques tels que des pièces de monnaie ou des
trombones sur le chargeur. Ils pourraient devenir très chauds.

REMARQUE :

• Lors de la recharge, la brosse à dents chauffe, mais c’est normal.

• N’utiliser que le chargeur Panasonic livré.

• Si la brosse à dents ne fonctionne que peu de temps après avoir été

complètement rechargée, cela signifie que la batterie doit être remplacée.

• L’actionnement du bouton marche/arrêt permet de passer
du mode 2 “normal” au mode → 1 “soft”, puis à “l’arrêt”.

MODE D’EMPLOI

1. Insérer fermement la tête de la brosse sur l’axe

d’entraînement de la brosse.

• Il reste un petit espace entre la tête de la brosse et le

corps de la brosse afin que la tête puisse vibrer
correctement.

2. Introduire la brosse à dents dans sa bouche.

• Mettre le dentifrice éventuel sur la brosse à dents avant

d’allumer l’appareil afin d’éviter les projections de
dentifrice.

3. Appuyer sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour allumer la brosse
à dents.

• La brosse à dents requiert environ 2 secondes avant

d’atteindre sa vitesse normale en raison de la fonction
“démarrage en douceur” (soft).

5. Lorsque le brossage est terminé, appuyer sur le bouton marche/arrêt
pour éteindre l’appareil.

• Afin d’éviter les projections de mousse, éteindre la brosse à dents

avant de la sortir de la bouche.

Les poils de la brossette glissent
verticalement sur le contour des dents et des
gencives, ce qui permet d’enlever la plaque
dentaire entre les dents (voir page 46).

Brossette à 3 têtes

• Brosse les dents de trois angles différents à
la fois (surfaces intérieure, extérieure et
occlusale).

• Cette brossette est particulièrement adaptée
pour l’arrière des dents et l’extrémité des
molaires, deux endroits difficiles à atteindre.

• Permet de se brosser rapidement les dents
lorsque l’on est pressé, le matin par exemple
(voir page 47).

Minuteur du temps de brossage

La brosse à dents s’arrête brièvement, puis redémarre au bout de 2
minutes d’utilisation.
Cela correspond au temps de brossage conseillé de 2 minutes environ.

Fonction anti-pression excessive

Lorsque la pression des poils de la brossette exercée sur les dents est trop
forte, cette fonction s’active et diminue automatiquement l’intensité des
vibrations afin d’éviter toute pression excessive.

PRÉCAUTION :

Durant les 2 ou 3 premiers jours d’utilisation, il est possible que les
gencives saignent. Ce saignement devrait ensuite disparaître. Si les
saignements persistent pendant plus d’une semaine, arrêter d’utiliser cette
brosse à dents et consulter un dentiste.

REMARQUE :

Il est conseillé de remplacer la tête de la brosse tous les 3 mois.
Si les poils penchent d’un côté, la brosse à dents ne sera pas très efficace.
Remplacer donc la brossette lorsque les poils sont inclinés ou usés.

• Brosser à un angle de 90°.

• Utiliser les bouts des poils de la brossette.

ATTENTION :

• Ne pas appuyer trop fort au niveau de la bordure gingivale. Ne pas garder
la brossette trop longtemps à un même endroit sous peine d’endommager
les dents ou la gencive. Il est conseillé aux personnes sujettes à de
graves problèmes dentaires ou gingivaux de consulter un dentiste avant
d’utiliser ce produit.

• Seuls les poils doivent toucher les dents. Si la tête en plastique devait
entrer en contact avec les dents, cela pourrait endommager les dents ou
la gencive.

1. Placer la brossette sur les dents frontales.

• Bien l’enfoncer afin que les poils
recouvrent toute la zone entre les dents
et la gencive.

• Si la brossette est d’abord placée sur les
dents du fond, elle ne pourra pas
recouvrir les dents correctement.

2. Déplacer la brossette parallèlement aux
dents et brosser les dents une à une en
direction des molaires (dents du fond).

• Déplacer la brossette lentement et

répéter le mouvement 2 à 3 fois.

3. Brosser toutes les dents en répétant les
étapes 1 et 2 précédentes.

Recouvrement des dents à l’aide de la brossette

La zone entre les dents et la gencive doit être
recouverte par les deux côtés de la brossette.

Si la brossette ne vous semble pas adaptée aux
dents

Faire légèrement pivoter la brossette jusqu’à ce
qu’elle repose bien sur les dents. (Le faire sur les
dents frontales.)

APRÈS L’USAGE

Brosse à dents

1. Lavez la brossette sous l’eau et secouez-la pour éliminer l’eau.

2. Remettez en place la brossette dans son compartiment de rangement.

3. Frottez soigneusement le corps de la brosse avec un chiffon. Pour
enlever les tâches, frottez avec force sous l’eau.

• Ne laissez pas le corps de la brosse

trop longtemps sous l’eau.

• Après le lavage, séchez

soigneusement à l’aide d’un chiffon.

•Évitez d’égratigner ou d’abîmer la

garniture en caoutchouc étanche.
L’eau risquerait de pénétrer à
l’intérieur du corps de la brosse et de
l’endommager.

4. Placez le corps de la brosse sur le
chargeur de piles.

Si l’anneau d’identification se détache, remettez-le en place de la façon
illustrée.

• Ne forcez pas sur l’anneau d’identifi-

cation car il pourrait se briser.

• Le fait d’utiliser la brossette sans son

anneau d’identification ne nuit pas à son
fonctionnement; l’anneau sert unique­ment l’utilisateur à reconnaître sa
brossette.

ATTENTION :

Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez du secteur d’alimentation
électrique la prise du câble afin d’éviter tout risque d’électrocution ou de

blessure en général.

l’esssence ou l’alcool, qui risqueraient d’attaquer le vernis de la surface.

Tous les six mois, nettoyez les pôles de la prise à l’aide d’un chiffon sec.

ATTENTION :

• Ne lavez pas à l’eau ou sous l’eau le chargeur de piles.

• Nettoyez régulièrement la prise d’alimentation électrique. La saleté et/ou

la poussière qui s’y accumulent peuvent être à l’origine d’une électrocution
ou réduire l’isolement de l’appareil provoquant ainsi sa surchauffe et,
parfois même, un incendie.

Lo spazzolino Panasonic DentaCare Sonodent si basa sulle
innovazioni offerte dalla tecnologia basata sul “motore lineare”, la quale
sfrutta le caratteristiche dell’attrazione e della repulsione magnetica per
garantire un rendimento ottimale. Le 31.000 battute al minuto dello
spazzolino aiutano a rimuovere la placca delicatamente , ma
efficacemente.

Altri vantaggi

Lo spazzolino presenta 3 angolazioni che permettono di spazzolare i
denti velocemente da tre angolature diverse nello stesso momento — la
superficie anteriore, quella posteriore e quella di masticazione.

Lo spazzolino si ferma un attimo dopo 2 minuti d’uso, quindi riprende a

RICARICA DELL’UNITÀ

L’unità principale deve essere lasciata in carica per almeno 15 ore:

1) prima del primo utilizzo;

2) quando lo spazzolino non è stato usato per più di tre mesi; oppure

3) se lo spazzolino si spegne durante l’uso.
Prima di metterlo in carica, accertarsi che lo spazzolino sia spento.

Posizionare lo spazzolino in verticale
all’interno del dispositivo di carica.

L’indicatore di ricarica si accende.

• Lo spazzolino si carica ogni volta che viene
riposto nel dispositivo.

• L’indicatore non si spegne anche se lo
spazzolino è completamente carico.

• Se la batteria è completamente carica, lo
spazzolino è in grado di funzionare per
circa 50 minuti.

• La durata operativa diminuisce quando la
batteria si scarica.

ATTENZIONE:

Non lasciare oggetti metallici, come monete o fermacarte sulla parte
superiore del dispositivo di carica, in quanto potrebbero scaldarsi
eccessivamente.

NOTA:

• Durante la carica, lo spazzolino normalmente si scalda.

• Utilizzare esclusivamente il dispositivo di carica fornito.

• Se dopo aver completato la ricarica lo spazzolino funziona solo per pochi

minuti, significa che la batteria si sta esaurendo. Per sostituire la batteria,
rivolgersi ad un centro di assistenza autorizzato.

AVVERTENZE PRIMA DELL’USO

Lo spazzolino elettrico, con vibrazioni ad alta velocità ha caratteristiche
diverse rispetto agli spazzolini elettrici convenzionali. Pertanto si consiglia:

• di premere solo leggermente le setole contro i
denti per spazzolarli.

• quando si usa per la prima volta questo
spazzolino, alcune persone provano una
sensazione di irritazione dovuta alle vibrazioni
ad alta velocità.
Questa sensazione scompare dopo alcune
applicazioni.

Installazione del dispositivo di carica
Cavo

Inserire il cavo nella guida a destra o a sinistra, in
base alla posizione di installazione del dispositivo
di carica.

Installazione vicino a un lavandino o
su un ripiano

Posizionare il dispositivo di carica su una
superficie piana e sicura. Inserire la spina
in una presa elettrica.

Montaggio a parete

1. Scegliere il punto in cui installare il dispositivo di carica,
quindi applicare l’apposito supporto alla parete utilizzando
le viti di legno fornite.

2. Inserire il dispositivo di carica nel supporto a parete
spingendolo dall’alto.

3. Inserire la spina in una presa elettrica.

ATTENZIONE:

• Non utilizzare il dispositivo di carica all’interno di un vano

doccia o in una zona in cui acqua corrente può venire a
contatto diretto con il dispositivo stesso.

• Non scollegare la spina dalla presa elettrica quando le mani

sono bagnate.

• Accertarsi di disporre di una alimentazione 100-240 VAC.

Spazzolini

Spazzolino piatto

Le setole dello spazzolino scorrono vertical­mente lungo il profilo di denti e gengive,
rimuovendo la placca tra i denti.
(Vedere pagina 64.)

Spazzolino a 3 angoli

• Spazzola i denti contemporaneamente da
tre angolature — frontale, posteriore e
superficie di masticazione.

• Questo tipo è adatto per lavare il lato
posteriore dei denti e le estremità molari,
che sono difficilmente raggiungibili.

• Inoltre permette di ottenere una
spazzolatura veloce quando si ha fretta,
come il mattino. (Vedere pagina 65.)

Timer per la durata di spazzolatura

Lo spazzolino si ferma temporaneamente dopo 2 minuti d’uso, quindi
riprende a funzionare per indicare che i denti devono essere spazzolati per
circa 2 minuti.

Prevenzione contro l’eccessiva pressione

Quando le setole dello spazzolino vengono premute con eccessiva forza
contro i denti, si attiva una funzione che riduce automaticamente l’intensità
delle vibrazioni, in modo da impedire che venga applicata eccessiva
pressione.

PRECAUZIONE:

L’uso di questo spazzolino potrebbe provocare nei primi 2 o 3 giorni un
leggero sanguinamento delle gengive, che dovrebbe scomparire
spontaneamente. Qualora il sanguinamento dovesse persistere,
interrompere l’uso dello spazzolino e consultare il proprio dentista.

NOTA:

Si consiglia di sostituire lo spazzolino ogni 3 mesi.
Se le setole risultano piegate su un lato, lo spazzolino non funziona in modo
corretto. Sostituire lo spazzolino con uno nuovo, non appena le setole si
piegano o si consumano.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO

1. Inserire la testa dello spazzolino sul perno.

• Tra spazzolino e unità principale lo spazio è ridotto per

• Accertarsi di appoggiare bene lo
spazzolino in modo che le punte delle
setole coprino lo spazio tra denti e
gengive.

• Se lo spazzolino viene appoggiato prima

coprire i denti nel modo corretto.

2. Muovere lo spazzolino in direzione
parallela ai denti e spazzolare in direzione
dei molari (denti posteriori).

Entrambi i lati dello spazzolino devono coprire lo

perfettamente adatto ai propri denti

Angolare lo spazzolino lentamente fino a sentire
che lo spazzolino tocca bene i denti. (Questa
operazione è efficace per i denti anteriori.)

Appoggiare prima lo spazzolino sui denti anteriori, quindi spostarlo indietro
verso i denti posteriori.

• Usare le punte dello spazzolino.

PRECAUZIONI:

• Non premere troppo forte lo spazzolino nei punti di contatto tra denti e
gengive. Non tenere lo spazzolino nello stesso punto per un periodo
troppo lungo, per evitare di danneggiare denti o gengive. Soggetti con
gravi problemi ai denti o alle gengive devono consultare il dentista prima
di usare questo prodotto.

• I denti devono venire a contatto solo con le setole e non con la testa di
plastica dello spazzolino. Qualora non si osservi questa precauzione, si
possono danneggiare denti e gengive.

MANUTENZIONE

Contenitore delle spazzole
ATTENZIONE:

Prima di pulire il prodotto, bisogna rimuovere la spina del cavo d’alimen­tazione di corrente dalla presa della rete elettrica. A non farlo si
correrebbero rischi di scossa elettrica o d’infortunio d’altro tipo.

1. Rimuovere il separatore. 2. Lavare con acqua. 3. Strofinare bene con
un panno asciutto.

quanto toglierebbero il colore di rifinitura.

Ogni sei mesi, pulire i poli della spina strofinandoli con un panno asciutto.

ATTENZIONE:

• Non lavare né immergere in acqua il caricabatteria.

• Periodicamente, pulire la spina d’alimentazione elettrica. L’accumulo di

sporcizia o polvere potrebbe essere causa di scossa elettrica o ridurre la
capacità d’isolamento che sarebbe causa di surriscaldamento e anche un
incendio.

DOPO L’USO

Spazzolino

1. Lavare lo spazzolino con acqua e agitarlo bene per rimuovere l’acqua.

2. Rimettere la spazzola nel contenitore delle spazzole.

3. Strofinare bene l’unità principale, con un panno. Per rimuovere le
macchie, strofinare con forza e lavare con acqua.

• Non immergere l’unità principale in

acqua per troppo tempo.

• Dopo il lavaggio con acqua,

strofinare e asciugare bene usando
un panno.

• Non graffiare né danneggiare la

guarnizione di gomma per la tenuta
stagna. Queste cose sarebbero
causa di penetrazione d’acqua
all’interno dell’unità principale.

4. Mettere l’unità principale sul
caricabatteria.

Se l’anello d’identificazione dovesse staccarsi, rimetterlo al suo posto
guardando l’illustrazione.

• Non far forza sull’anello d’identificazione

in quanto potrebbe rompersi.

• L’uso dello spazzolino senza l’anello

d’identificazione non ha controindicazioni
per il buon rendimento del prodotto;
l’anello serve solo per aiutare l’utente a
riconoscere il proprio spazzolino.

CARGA DE LA UNIDAD

Asegúrese de cargar la unidad al menos durante 15 horas:

1) antes de utilizarla por primera vez;

2) cuando el cepillo no se haya utilizado desde hace más de 3 meses, o

3) si el cepillo agota la batería mientras se está utilizando.
Asegúrese que el cepillo se encuentra apagado antes de proceder a su
recarga.

Coloque el cepillo en el cargador en posición
vertical.

Se encenderá el indicador de carga.

• El cepillo se carga siempre que se coloca
en el cargador.

• La luz indicadora no se apaga, incluso
cuando el cepillo está totalmente cargado.

• El cepillo dispone de 50 minutos de uso
cuando la batería está totalmente cargada.

• Cuanto mayor sea la antigüedad de la
batería, más corta será la duración de
funcionamiento del cepillo.

PRECAUCIÓN:

No deje objetos metálicos, como monedas o clips, sobre el cargador.
Pueden calentarse.

NOTA:

• Durante el proceso de carga, el cepillo se calentará, pero esto es algo
normal.

• Utilice únicamente el cargador que se incluye con el cepillo.

Coloque el cable bien en la guía derecha o izquierda,

Coloque el cargador en una superficie
nivelada y segura. Conecte el enchufe a

Instalación en pared

1. Elija el lugar de instalación del cargador y fije el soporte
para instalación en pared a la misma, utilizando para ello
los tornillos para madera que se incluyen.

2. Deslice el cargador de arriba hacia abajo por el soporte de

3. Conecte el enchufe a una toma eléctrica.

PRECAUCIÓN:

• No utilice el cargador en una repisa de ducha o en otra zona

Cepillo flotante

Las cerdas del cepillo se desplazan
verticalmente a lo largo de los contornos de
dientes y encías, eliminando la placa entre los
dientes. (Consulte la página 82.)

Cepillo de 3 ángulos

• Cepilla los dientes desde tres ángulos
diferentes: desde el frontal, desde la parte
posterior y la superficie dental, todos ellos
simultáneamente

• Adecuado para la parte posterior de los
dientes y los molares internos, zonas de
difícil acceso.

• Le permite cepillar con rapidez en
situaciones apresuradas, por ejemplo, por
las mañanas. (Consulte la página 83.)

Temporizador de aviso de duración del cepillado

El cepillo de dientes se detiene momentáneamente después de 2 minutos
de uso, transcurrido ese periodo se vuelve a poner en funcionamiento. Esta
función le recuerda que el cepillado de dientes debe tener una duración
recomendada de aproximadamente 2 minutos.

Función preventiva de presión excesiva

Si presiona las cerdas del cepillo excesivamente contra los dientes se
activará esta función, haciendo que la intensidad de la vibración se reduzca
automáticamente.

PRECAUCIÓN:

Durante los dos o tres primeros días de utilizar este cepillo de dientes
puede notar como le sangran las encías, pero el sangrado debería remitir
pronto. Si persiste el sangrado de las encías más de una semana, deje de
utilizar el cepillo de dientes y consulte con su dentista habitual.

NOTA:

Se recomienda cambiar cada tres meses el cabezal del cepillo.
La eficacia del cepillo se reduce considerablemente cuando las cerdas se
doblan o desgastan. Cuando esto ocurra, se recomienda la sustitución del
cabezal.

4. Si desea utilizar el modo suave, pulse de nuevo el botón
on/off.

• Al pulsar el botón on/off se cambia el modo de

funcionamiento en el siguiente orden: 2 “normal” →
1 “Suave” → “Apagado”.

FORMA DE USO

1. Coloque el cabezal del cepillo firmemente en el eje del

cepillo de dientes.

• Entre el cepillo y la unidad principal existe una pequeña

separación. Esto es normal y necesario para que el
cabezal vibre adecuadamente.

2. Aplique la pasta de dientes antes de conectar el cepillo
para que ésta no salpique y colóquese el cepillo en la boca.

3. Pulse el botón on/off para conectar el cepillo de dientes.

• Cuando se conecta, la función “inicio suave” hace que

tarde 2 segundos en alcanzar la velocidad normal.

PRECAUCIÓN:

en dientes o encías, deberían consultar a su dentista habitual antes de

•Únicamente las cerdas y nunca el cabezal de plástico deben entrar en

alcohol, ya que decolorarían la superficie.

Cada seis meses limpie las puntas del enchufe con un paño seco.

ATENCIÓN:

• No lave ni sumerja el cargador en agua.

• Limpie el enchufe periódicamente. La suciedad y el polvo pueden

provocar una descarga eléctrica o reducir la efectividad del aislamiento, lo
que podría derivar en un sobrecalentamiento e incendio.
