1.2 Purpose

UP-317

 Countermeasure of freezing or picture darkness on DVD playback through set top box

made by Scientific Atlanta Model# Explorer 3250.

 U71 message is deleted due to avoiding for issue of HDMI connection with Philips TV.

 Improved temperature problem of motor driver IC for over 6x.

 Correspondence to Playback of DVD-Video for +RW disc.
 Countermeasure against matter which DIGA turns on VIERA's power by HDAVI control at

completion of COPYING or at completion of finalizing during TV is set to standby.

 Countermeasure against matter which Set Clock Manually Tab is gray out after power

failure.

2 Download Firmware

1) Left click on the DOWNLOAD icon for the DMR-EH55 Firmware.

- DMR-EH55 DVD Recorder Firmware

2) Left click on SAVE.

The file name displayed should be
PANA_DVD.FRM.

3) Left click on DESKTOP, and then left click on SAVE.

NOTE: The PANA_DVD.FRM file will be placed on the DESKTOP.
