All Dressed and Ready to Go. The Olympus VP-1 Data
Projector is the perfect traveling companion! At just over
2 pounds — small and light enough to hold in one hand —
this ultra-portable projector goes nearly anywhere there’s
a surface to project on and a power outlet to connect to.
True XGA Resolution and Clarity. The high 1024 x 768 pixels
resolution for computers and projectors eliminates jagged
edges so your audience can easily read the fine print, follow
the diagram flow and distinguish spreadsheet details.
Olympus Zuiko Digital lens brings out the best in DLP
Technology. The Olympus VP-1 can now produce even
more detailed presentations than other projectors
with similar brightness. Your
images are created by the DLP

projection system using the next-
generation Digital Micromirror
Device (DMD) chip and then sent
through an Olympus Zuiko Digital
Lens. Our lens fills every pixel consistently, minimizes
chromatic aberration and delivers your projected image
with rich color from center to edge.
TM
Sharp Images with Rich Tonal Gradations. A very high
2000:1 contrast ratio means your audience sees the
blackest blacks, the whitest whites, and the widest range
of fine gradations in between. Charts and small-font
documents have never been so clearly visible on screen.
Information rich tables stand out in sharp contrast from
background images. Subtle color shades in photographs
are beautifully reproduced while overall picture quality is
greatly enhanced.
Dynamic Presentations with Picture-in-Picture. Project
two images at once. While displaying images or documents
on the personal computer main screen, you can play a
video in the pop-up window.
Greater Corner-to-Corner Brightness. Thanks again to
DLP technology, this compact projector delivers 1000
lumens of brightness that provides clear images in any
lighting environment.
Enlarge Your Image with Digital Zoom. Use the digital
zoom to magnify any portion of the projected image, up to
10 times. One touch of the remote control, and you’ve
made your point.
Keystone Correction, Project from Anywhere in the Room.
No more distorted images when you project from one side
of a cramped conference room. Now you can adjust your
image side-to-side as well as top-to-bottom with built-in
four-way digital keystone correction and project at a
comfortable viewing level.

Fit the Image to the Size of Your Screen. With the built-in
manual zoom and short-throw lens, you can easily project
your large-screen presentation, even in a small space.
Forget the usual setup hassles. Just place the projector in
a convenient location near the screen. Then turn the zoom
ring to optically resize the image to match the screen size.
Connect to Virtually Any Computer or Video Source.
The Auto Source feature auto-
matically detects the input signal,
selects the appropriate video mode
and synchronizes the signal for
optimal viewing. No more
manually adjusting for
each computer in your
company. Plus, a Digital Visual Interface (DVI) that allows
for a direct connection between digital devices, such as
a personal computer, DVD or HDTV. DVI faithfully and
vividly reproduces video and data image quality by
eliminating the conversion to an analog signal that occurs
when conventional video
modes are used.
Accessories – Fully Loaded. Put an end to those late night
or early morning searches for an electronics store in an
unfamiliar city. The Olympus VP-1 Data Projector comes
with all necessary data, video and audio cables, as well as a
full-function wireless remote control, user’s manual and
carrying case.
