FLA-36 POS (Point Of Sales) Flash Loading Adapter
FLA-36 POS Flash Loading Adapter is used in place of the phone's normal battery during
service to supply a controlled operating voltage. It works only in connection with flashing tools FPS-8 or FLS-4.
The adapter is equipped with pins which will contact the necessary test pattern on the
PWB.
Power supply is handled either with FLC-2 or with XCS-1.
Note: NEM-2 features two different Flash areas --> UPP and ADSP. FLA-36 is only
designed for UPP Flashing, for ADSP Flashing an additional cable (DKU-2) is needed!

MJ-6 Module Test Jig
A module jig is designed to hold the main PWB and the UI module when covers are
removed and component level troubleshooting / diagnostic are done.
Note! No RF tuning allowed with MJ-6.
The Module jig is used for
• Flashing in disassembled state
• Galvanic RF connection for testing only
• Galvanic FM connection for FM radio tests
• Galvanic FM Audio connection for FM radio tests
• Troubleshooting on component level
• MP3 audio tests
• Interface tests (SIM / MMC / Pop-Port connector / Line in)
•UI tests

DA-1 Docking Adapter
Docking adapter is designed to hold the assembled phone for low level troubleshooting /
diagnostics. A RF-coupler is integrated in the Docking station adapter.
Note! Tuning only with DA-1 inside JXS-2.
The Docking station adapter is used for:
• Flashing in assembled state
• GoNoGo tests
• RF connection for alignment of GSM parameters in JXS-2
• Energy Management calibration
• Test of SIM and MMC readers

The Docking station JBV-1 is used as the basic adapter for the Docking station adapter
and is different for each product. It includes electronic parts and common interfaces.

FPS-8C Parallel Flash Prommer (Sales Pack)
The Parallel Flash Prommer FPS-8C is used with MJF-22 and JVB-1. Flash programming
can be done to maximum of 8 phones parallel. FPS-8C consists of eight SF11C programming cards. SF11C card is functionally identical to FPS-8.

PKD-1 SW Security Device
SW security device is a piece of hardware enabling the use of the service software when
connected to the parallel (LPT) port of the PC. Without the dongle present it is not possible to use the service software. Printer or any such device can be connected to the PC
through the dongle if needed.
Caution: Make sure that you have switched off the PC and the printer before mak-
ing connections!
Caution: Do not connect the PKD-1 to the serial port. You may damage your PKD-1!
