WAC564 Access Point offers small and
medium sized business the industry’s

highest performance, most efcient and

scalable wireless mesh solution to expand
your existing WiFi network across another

room or even another building with a

single Ethernet cable connection.

Insight, a management tool from
NETGEAR Business, monitors and
maintains the WAC564 from the Insight
mobile app or the Insight web portal,
locally and remotely.

The WAC564 may be congured in two

modes of operation:

• A mesh extender for an existing

WAC540 or WAC564 wireless network,

congured by Instant Mesh, an industry
leading innovation from Insight

• An AC3000 tri-band 11AC Wireless

Access Point

Compared against another member of
the WAC500 product series, WAC540,
WAC564 features a four-port integrated
gigabit Ethernet switch, enabling local
gigabit speed switching between desktop

computers, servers, network storages,
printers and other wired devices.

Managed by Insight, a management tool
operated from a mobile app or a web
portal, the WAC540 and WAC564, in
conjunction or independently, can be

most effectively used in the following

applications:

• WiFi mesh with multiple SSIDs and

VLANs extended across the entire
network, in a single root, multiple

extender conguration, requiring only

one Ethernet connection

• 11AC WiFi access point, capable of
supporting up to 600 devices

• Wireless bridge, extending the network

wirelessly while maintaining the same

VLAN conguration throughout

The WAC564 features a tri-band radio,
operating concurrently in the 2.4GHz
band, the 5GHz high and low bands,

delivering the most robust, most reliable,

and highest WiFi throughput for the
