Disc Eject Button — ejects the CD tray. Press this button when power is on to insert a CD into or remove a CD from the drive.

Removing a Device from the VersaBay IV Slot

Before installing your new NEC VersaBay IV drive, remove any device or the weight-saving module (if in place) from the VersaBay IV slot as follows.
1.
If a VersaBay IV device is in the slot, use the Phoenix® BaySwap™ utility or power off the system. (See your printed user’s guide for information about the Phoenix BaySwap utility.)
If a VersaBay IV weight-saving module is in the VersaBay IV slot, skip to step 2.
If you plan to hot swap a VersaBay IV battery and the system is not connected to an AC power source, verify that the primary battery is not in a low-power state. If it is, plug in the system before removing the VersaBay IV battery.
2.
Locate the NEC VersaBay IV release latch to the right of the VersaBay IV slot.
3.
Flip the latch to the open position. Then press the latch into the system to eject the device.
4.
Pull the device out of the system.
