The third Intel® Centrino® generation – Intel® Centrino

Duo mobile technology – is the first to use a dual core

processor in a mobile computing system. The new Intel®

945 Express chipset technology makes the PRO 600 IW

a notebook with powerful features when it comes to

complex applications requiring multi-tasking.

The dual core processor is supported by a 2 MB cache,

which means that the cores are closely connected to make

working with several programs at a time faster – without

sacrificing performance. This results in an outstanding

improvement in performance. And all of this without taking

up a lot of space: The PRO 600 IW has a 14.1 inch WXGA

screen that requires less space on the desktop thanks to

to the new form factor. A new WLAN module provides

better connectivity while the Intel® Media Accelerator 950

that is integrated into the chipset provides brilliant graphics

performance.
