Level Application:

[PHENOMENON]

1. In condition, Connect COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminal to TV’s Component video input terminal.

2. When Playback DVD disc, a noise (horizontal line) occurs on TV screen with PAL Progressive output.

3. It occurs about 3 times in 2 hours.

[REASONS]

When transmission of 12C Bus data between Video Encoder and u-P, Video Encoder is incorrect operation
by the noise.

[SOLUTION]

1. POS.NO RG04, RG05 CHIP RESISTOR (0 OHM) is changed to CHIP RESISTOR( 100 OHM) on the
PM01-VIDEO / SACD CIRCUIT BOAD.
