Companion Unit for DG-25III

DG-12II Alarming Base Station

The DG-Monitor is a companion unit to the DG-12II and DG-25III
Base Stations and provides audio monitoring when one way/listen
feature is required. It has 10 audio inputs and can serve up to 10
DG-25III Base Stations. Has input/output to DVR/VCR for audio
recording and playback.

DESCRIPTION

The DG-Monitor is of panel construction and mounts in a standard 19” equipment rack.
All controls and indicators are located on the front panel and all electrical connections
are made at the rear of the unit. Plugs directly to a 120 Vac outlet for power.

DG-Monitor Front Panel

[1] - Monitor Level Knob Controls the volume level of audio present in the speaker. Rotating

clockwise turns ON power to the unit and increases the volume of
audio.

[2] - Headphone Jack Used for private listening. Any headphone with 8 to 600W

impedance can be used.

[3] - Speaker 3” speaker. Volume is controlled by the Monitor Level Knob [1].

[4] - Power Indicator LED Illuminates when power is turned ON. Rotate Monitor Level Knob

[1] clockwise to turn on power to the unit.

[5] - AC Line Cord Plugs to 120 Vac wall outlet or power strip.

[6] - Fuse Holder Holds power fuse for the unit. Use ¼” x 1¼” Slow Blow, 1/8A, 250V fuse.

[7] - DG-12II/25III Input Jacks Ten RCA type jacks that accept monitored audio from the remote

DG-12II/25III. Up to ten DG units can be accommodated.

[8] - Audio-Out Jack Provides audio output to a DVR/VCR.

[9] - Audio-In Jack Accept audio from external sources (DVR/VCR). Audio playback is provided

through the built-in speaker [3].

[10] - Loop Thru Jumper Must remain plugged in Audio-Out Jack [8] and Audio-In Jack [9] for the unit to

operate. Remove only when Audio-Out Jack [8] and Audio-In Jack [9] are used
to connect to a DVR,VCR, etc.

LOUROE ELECTRONICS warrants that at the time of shipment products manufactured by LOUROE ELECTRONICS to be free of defects in material and workmanship.
Should a defect appear within one year (12 months) from date of shipment, LOUROE ELECTRONICS will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective equipment.
This equipment shall not be accepted for repair or return without prior notification by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.

This warranty does not extend to any Louroe product that has been subjected to improper or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, or in violation of installation
instructions provided by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.

Returned shipments to LOUROE ELECTRONICS shall be at customer’s expense. LOUROE ELECTRONICS will return the equipment prepaid via best way.
