Field Measures:
Apply the field measure parts (No.1 to No.3) when the phenomenon described below arises or for the
preventive action. (For more details, please refer to the description below.)
Serial Nos. of the Affected Machines:
As these are service parts, the serial numbers of the affected machines are not available.
1 may contact the pulley A in the figure left and may be
broken if pulled out just before fully open and the
downward force is applied to the cassette.
5 may contact the pulley B in the figure left and may be
broken if repeatedly pulled out with fully loaded paper in
the cassette.
*Others than 1 and 5 above may be damaged depending
on the position of the pulled-out cassette.

Affected models:
Topic
The left side cassette rail which contacts the main unit side pulleys might be damaged if the cassette is repeatedly
pulled out with fully loaded paper in the cassette or if the downward force was applied to the cassette. Therefore,
the following parts were newly set up as service parts for repair and preventive action (Field measure parts No.1 to
No.3).
*It is also planned to add ribs to the cassette rails as the permanent measures in order to increase the strength of
the cassette rails. (The change will be implemented at the production.)
