Topic

The developer unit lever depth was not enough depending on the position of the installed developer unit and the
retainer, which caused the image dropout on the drive side of the page. Therefore, the following changes were
made.

Content of Changes

1) The shape of the lever and the dimensions of the spring were changed as follows in order to increase the lever
pushing depth.

Lever

The sleeve roller normally shifts toward the
drum when the retainer pushes the lever.
However, depending on the positions of the
developer unit and the retainer, the retainer
fails to push the lever and the sleeve roller
may not shift toward the drum.
