1. The conditions for the drum protection control were changed. (The machine
will not enter this mode so fast.)
･Depending on the drum drive time, the table of the conditions to enter refresh
mode will be changed.)
･The operation time during the summer was shortened (from 120 sec. to 60
sec.), and the toner volume was reviewed.
2. After last print job was completed, the drum protection control will be stopped
for 60 min.
･The change was made so that the machine will not enter the drum protection
control mode at main power ON, at return from sleep mode or when the
elapsed time was 60 min. or less after final print job.
1. The timing to turn the charger ON/OFF was changed.
･The timing to turn the charger ON/OFF will be same for all four colors. (The
adsorption power between the drum and the belt was increased.)
However, for 10k or more, the conventional step control will be applied.
1. The error of the environmental calibration value of T/C sensor at start-up
was corrected.
(Measure against the foggy background at start-up in high humidity
environment)
･The T/C environmental calibration value at 0ºC/0% was applied in the toner
supply mode (mainly toner supply after the drum protection control) at start-up
(before start of printing). Therefore, this was corrected.
(Since the T/C target value was calibrated lower than usual, toner will be
supplied according to the output value to match the lower target value.)
