Subject: Colour registration shift
Model: FS-C8020MFP/8025MFP
Phenomenon Depending on the operating environment (High humidity/temperature), the colour registration
shift may appear on the print-out.
Cause This is due to slippage between the drive roller and primary transfer belt.
Solution 1. To increase the Primary transfer belt drive force, the diameter of the Secondary transfer
roller has been increased.
2. Due to the increased drive torque (As a result of the above mentioned change), the shape of
the Transfer roller gear has been changed.
3. Due to the increased diameter of Secondary transfer roller, the ribs at the neighboring
guide plate may contact the Secondary transfer roller. Therefore the protective sheet has
been changed from Paper to PET lm.
4. Due to the above mentioned changes, the process speed should be adjusted. Therefore a
leaet has been added to the TR-895B and the MK-859A. In this leaet the change of
maintenance mode U053 (Setting the adjustment of the motor speed) can be found. (See
the image below for further details)
