Topic

When feeding A4 lateral or Letter lateral sizes or smaller size that are conveyed by two of the centered middle
rollers of the MP tray, it might not reach the registration roller due to the insufficient nip pressure. Accordingly, the
J4109 jam (Fuser pre sensor non arrival jam) or the top margin timing failure might occur. Therefore, the following
changes were made.

Content of Changes

1) The outer diameter of the pulley for the conveying unit was changed from 20+/-0.1 mm to 21.4+/-0.1 mm in order
to increase the nip pressure of the middle roller.

2) The pulley was registered as service part after the change 1) above.
