Topic

Drum ghost image may appear depending on the originals the customer is using.
Therefore, the drum unit was changed as follows in order to reduce the phenomenon above.

Content of Changes

The drum surface potential after erase was standardized through the changes 1) and 2) below in order to reduce
the drum ghost image.

1) The drum photoconductive layer finish was changed.

2) The erasing lamps were changed.

* The change 1) is only applied to the drum installed in the machine at factory.

The changes 1) and 2) are applied to the service part drum unit (Nos.1, 2 and 3).
