Content of changes
1 The operation panel may be locked and the network connection may fail, after setting the time-zone to the
Brazilian setting at the Command Center.
2 The digital “Digital Dot Coverage” label at the service status page has been changed to “Print Coverage”.
• The coverage is converted with the area image ratio based on the current dot number data, and the accuracy of the reference value of the toner consumption is improved.
• The Digital Dot Coverage data is reset because the calculation method has been
changed after upgrading the rmware.
3 The space may not appear on the print-out, when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.
4 The font may appear garbled, when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.
5 Depending on the output size, the characters may appear blurred when printing CAD les.
6 The page layout may appear abnormal on the print-out.
7 The umlaut characters may not appear on the print-out, when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.
8 The leading edge of the image may shift or the center of the image may not appear on the print-out, when
printing the back of les in duplex mode.
9 Lines may appear on the print-out, when printing the same 2 les continuously.
10 The print failure may occur, when printing data containing Prescribe commands.
11 Characters may appear garbled on the rst page, and the print failure may occur in duplex mode.
12 Offending Command error may be displayed, when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.
13 The print out may take a long time, when the data contains macro data.
14 The print speed has been improved.
15 A horizontal line may appear around the logo when outputting macro data.
16 When calling macro data, tha data may be locked while the machine displays “Processing“
17 The print range adjustment may appear on some reports.
18 Polish text may not appear properly on the print-out, when printing the PDF le directly from the machine.

20 Parts of the umlaut fonts may not appear, when printing PDF data with Adobe reader 9.2.0 in combination with
the PCL-XL driver (KX v5.0.1930).
21 Latin 1 characters may be partly skipped when printing from host systems such as SAP or AS-400, after printing
windows print jobs.
22 Umlaut characters may appear garbled on the print-out when printing from the host system.
23 The data may become corrupted, when transmitting jobs many times.
24 Parts of the image may not appear on the print-out, when printing PS data or PDF les.
25 The image failure may occur or the KPDL error may appear when printing PDF les.
26 The print position may shift when printing.
27 Print failure may occur, when using the KPDL (Auto) driver.
28 Print failure may occur, when printing PCL data.
29 Macro’s may be disabled when changing the emulation or resolution at the Operation panel.
30 Garbled characters may appear on the print-out when the data contains certain types of the PJL (Printer Job
Language).
