ADJUSTMENT

1. Flicker adjustment

Condition (same conditon as it is used in the
previous models)
Video Source: VIDEO
Video: Luster white 30%~50%
BRIGHT: MAX
MODE: ZOOM
Adjustment procedure
Display luster white 30%~50%.
q
Place a fl icker adjustment jig to the monitor and observe
w
the waveform with an oscilloscope.
Turn VR200 and adjust it to make the amplitude of the
e
waveform to minimum.
Oscilloscope range: 20mV, 0.5mS
Note
In checking the screen after the adjustment, shake the
q
monitor up and down in order to confi rm that the screen
does not fl icker. (This check is also carried out on the 07
model.)
Noise due to AC200V can be observed in the flicker
w
adjustment jig and oscilloscope, and thus carefully set up
the power supply and GND of the jig and oscilloscope.
* In the 07 model, GND of the measurement equipment
has been fl oated.
2. Automatic adjustment of RGB amplitude
and WB VCOM amplitude
Adjustment requirement
Input signal: Input white 100% (NTSC) in VIDEO1
Adjustment method
Press Auto Adjust on the Test Mode Main screen.

Press RGB on the Auto Adjust screen.

After the automatic adjustment, "Auto Set OK" will be

shown to indicate the completion of the adjustment

3. TINT/PHASE adjustment

Adjustment requirement. The adjustment is
required to the model for PAL regions (other
than K and R)
Input signal:Input magenta (PAL) in VIDEO1.

Press Auto Adjust on the Test Mode Main screen.

Press Tint/Phase on the Auto Adjust screen.

4. Adjustment of Horizontal display start
position and Pixel

horizontal display position of pixel (Default: 15)

Cancel to start over the adjustment.
Note
The touch panel adjustment data is fi nalized when the touch
stick is released from the mark.
Therefore, the knack for the adjustment is not to release
the touch stick away from the mark right after touching the
center of the “+” mark, but to vertically and quickly release
the stick away from the mark after confi rming that the stick is
exactly on the center of the “+” mark while keeping touching
the screen (if the stick is not exactly on the center, move the
stick onto the center while keeping touching the screen).
