INTRODUCTION
This manual will help you get the most from your Kent SelectGloss. Read it thoroughly before operating the machine. References to “right” and “left” in this manual mean right or left as seen from the operator’s position.
This product is intended for commercial use only.
PARTS AND SERVICE
Repairs, when required, should be performed by your Authorized Kent Service Center, who employs factory trained service personnel, and maintains an inventory of Kent original replacement parts and accessories.
Call the KENT DEALER named below for repair parts or service. Please specify the Model and Serial number when discussing your machine.

NAMEPLATE
The Model Number and Serial Number of your machine are shown on the name plate, located on the back of the machine near the base of the handle. This information is often needed when ordering repair parts for the machine. Use the space below to note the Model Number and Serial Number of your machine for future reference.

UNCRATING
When the machine is delivered, carefully inspect the shipping carton and the machine for damage. If damage is evident, save the shipping carton so that it can beinspected. ContacttheKentCustomerServiceDepartmentimmediatelytofile a freight damage claim.

Ce mode d’emploi vous permettra d’exploiter au maximum les fonctionnalités et la puissance de votre Kent SelectGloss. Lisez-le donc attentivement avant d’utiliser votre machine. Dans ce manuel, les références à la «gauche» et à la «droite» sont faites en prenant la position de l’opérateur comme point de référence .
Ce produit est uniquement destiné à un usage commercial.
PIECES ET SERVICE APRES-VENTE
Si nécessaire, les réparations doivent être effectuées par votre centre de service Kent agréé. Ce dernier emploie du personnel formé en usine et maintient un inventaire des pièces de remplacement et des accessoires originaux Kent .
Pour tout entretien ou réparation, contactez votre revendeur KENT. Veuillez spécifier le modèle et le numéro de série de votre machine lors de toute communication de renseignements relatifs à votre machine.

PLAQUE D’IDENTIFICATION
Le modèle et le numéro de série de votre machine figurent sur la plaque d’identification située sur la face arrière de la machine, près de la base de la poignée. Ces informations sont souvent nécessaires lors de la commande de pièces détachées pour votre machine. Utilisez l’espace disponible ci-dessous pour consigner ces renseignements en vue d’une utilisation ultérieure.

DEBALLAGE
Lors de la livraison de la machine, veuillez inspecter attentivement le carton de conditionnement et la machine elle-même afin de détecter tout dégât éventuel. En cas de dommage manifeste, conservez le carton de conditionnement, afin de permettre son inspection. Le cas échéant, prenez immédiatement contact avec le service clientèle de Kent afin de faire une déclaration de dégât de fret.

CHAPA DE IDENTIFICAÇÃO
O Modelo e o Número de Série são indicados na chapa de identificação da sua máquina, localizada na parte de trás da máquina, junto à base do guiador . Estas informações são necessárias sempre que encomendar peças sobressalentes para a sua máquina. Utilize o espaço providenciado abaixo para anotar o Modelo e o Número de Série da sua máquina, para futura referência.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: Read all instructions before using.
WARNING!
To reduce risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
*Do not leave the appliance when it is plugged in. Unplug the unit from the outlet when not in use and before servicing.
*To avoid electric shock, do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
*Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necesary when used by or near children.
*Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
*Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
*Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on a cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
*Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
*Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
*Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
*Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
*Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
*Turn off all controls before unplugging.
*Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
*Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present.
*Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.
