EZS 570
Electric tow tractor (7,000 kg)
The Jungheinrich EZS 570 is a versatile
tow tractor with low running costs
capable of handling trailers up to 7000
kg. The ability to couple several trailers
together, provides a flexible materials
handling operation.
The coupling is visible from the operator’s seat and is easily accessible. The
semi-automatic remote release (optional)
allows the coupling and decoupling of
trailers without the operator having to
leave the vehicle saving both time and
money. The EZS 570 is available with
many dierent couplings to allow it to fit
every trailer type.
High performance is ensured with the
48 V drive motor using AC technology.
The advantages are powerful acceleration and high top speed, with significant
energy saving, extended operating times
and low maintenance (through the
omission of carbon brushes). This is due
to the optimal set up between the drive
motor and the electronic controller as
well as the regenerative braking.
One of the main ergonomic advantages
is the position of the operator’s seat
giving ample leg room. The low foot step
reduces eort during entry and exit of
the vehicle. The compactness of the tow
truck ensures the close proximity of the
operator position to the load. The EZS
operates eortlessly in tight spaces due
to its very tight turning circle. The sprung
loaded wheels oer both travel comfort
and safety. The automatically activating parking brake reduces roll-back on
slopes.

Example:
The EZS 570 travels on a 10% incline with a 2
t load. The EZS requires 3400 N drawbar pull
and will
achieve a speed of approx. 6 km/h.
v=speed [km/h], m=incline [%], F=drawbar pull [N]
Note:
The EZS 570 is not suitable for continuous
operations over 1400 N.
For gradients / descents greater than 4%
it is recommended that braked trailers be
used.
