The John Deere L Series Lawn Tractors use Briggs & Stratton and Kohler engines. These engines provide plenty of
power and torque to handle tough mulching, mowing, and
bagging conditions.
The L100 features a 17 hp Briggs & Stratton Anti-Vibration
System (AVS) single-cylinder engine:

TRANSLUCENT FUEL TANK WITH SIGHT GAUGE
The L Series Lawn Tractors’ fuel tank provides visibility to
the amount of fuel in the tank.

GEAR TRANSMISSION
The L100 5-speed model features a DANA 4360 transaxle
with enclosed differential and transmission for reliable operation.
