FEATURES

This unit is radio-interference suppressed. This product meets the requirements of the current European and national
guidelines. Conformity has been established and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited by the
manufacturer.

 Thisdevice has been designed to produce decorativeeffect lighting andis used in light show systems.
 Alightweight RGB LEDprojector to be used withthe LED MANAGER(special DMX power supply)
 81LEDS (Red 26pcs + Green26pcs +Blue 29pcs) behind a sturdy 15cm x 15cm cover.
 Two beam angles available: 15° and 40°
 Can be builtin any wall and/or ceiling
 Hangingbracket included for easy fixing on truss or any surface
 Very easy electrical 4-wire connection
 Lowpowerconsumption, only 10watts!
 Noheat dissipation!
 Canbe used indiscotheques, pubs, lounges, buildings,parkings, homes, etc.

 Beforeyou start using this unit,pleasecheck if there’s no transportation damage. Should there be any, do not use the

device and consultyour dealer first.

 Important: This device left our factoryin perfect condition and well packaged. It is absolutely necessary forthe user to

strictly follow the safety instructions and warnings in this user manual. Any damage caused by mishandling is not
subject to warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any resulting defects or problems caused by
disregardingthis user manual.

 Keep this booklet in a safe place forfuture consultation.If yousell the fixture, be sure to add this user manual.

 To protect the environment, please try to recycle the packingmaterialas much as possible.
 To prevent fire or shock hazard, do notexpose this appliance to rain ormoisture.
 To avoid condensation to be formedinside, allow the unit to adapt to the surrounding temperatures when bringing it

into a warm room after transport. Condense sometimes prevents the unitfrom working at fullperformance or may even
causedamages.

 This unit is forindooruse only.
 Don’t place metal objects or spill liquid inside the unit. Electric shock or malfunction may result. If a foreign object

enters the unit,immediately disconnectthe mains power.

 Prevent use in dusty environments and clean the unit regularly.
 Keep the unit away fromchildren.
 Inexperienced persons shouldnot operatethis device.
 Maximum save ambienttemperatureis 40°C. Don’t use this unitat higher ambienttemperatures.
 Make sure the area below the installation place is free fromunwanted persons during installation and servicing.
 The electrical installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the regulations for electrical

and mechanical safetyin your country.

 Check thatthe available voltageis not higher thanthe one stated on the rear panel of the unit.
 Don’t connect the unit to any dimmerpack.
 Please use the original packingwhen the device is to be transported.
 Due to safety reasons it is prohibited to make unauthorizedmodificationsto the unit.

Important: Never look directly into the light source! Don’t use the effect in the presence of persons suffering from
epilepsy.

INSTALLATION:

!! This LP-8115/LP-8140 can only be used together withthe JB SYSTEMS®LED MANAGER !!

!!! DON’T CONNECT DIRECTLY TO 230Vac or anyordinary 24Vdc power supply !!!

When you connect the LP-8115/LP-8140 to the LED MANAGER,just connectthe corresponding colors:

You can install the LP-8115 & LP-8140in 3 ways:

1.Using the includedhanging bracket to fix the LP-8115/LP-8140 with a mounting hook

2.You can build the LP-8115/LP-8140 in a mountingpanel (ex. ceiling)

3.Installing the LP-8115/LP-8140in a mounting panel USING4 SCREWS:

1. Using theincluded hanging bracket:

The hangingbracket has 2 knobs and a mounting hole to fixa smallmountinghook.
Before installingthis unit, please take note of followinginformation:

 Make sure the area below the installationplace is free fromunwanted persons while

installing

 The device should be well fixed, free-swinging mounting is dangerous and may not be

considered!

2. Installing the LP-8115/LP-8140 in a mounting panel USINGTHESPRINGCLIPS:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you start installing the unit, be sure to remove the hanging bracket first!

Before installingthis unit, please take note offollowing information:

 The diameter of the hole cutout has to be 125mm x 125mm
 The thickness of the mountingpanel (ceiling)can be up to 15mm
 Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted

persons while installing

How toinstall the unit:

 Install the Spring Clips on both sides ofthe enclosure.
 Make sure you make the electrical connections before you install the unit

in the mountingpanel!

 Press bothSpring Clips upwards (see picture A).
 Slide the armature in the 125mm x 125mm hole of the mounting panel

(ceiling).

 Release the SpringClips (see picture B).
 The armature will be locked in the mounting panel(ceiling).

3. Installing the LP-8115/LP-8140in a mounting panel USING4 SCREWS:

You will havedifficulties usingthe spring
clips when the mountingpanel is thicker
than 15mm. In that case you can mount
the armature asfollows:

 Make a hole as shown on the

drawing. (you will have to widen the
hole at some locations with a file to fit
the armatureperfectly)

 Remove the safety screen (and the

Spring Clips when they are attached
to the unit)

 Drill 4 holes on the locations marked

bythe circles (seepicture C)

 Fix the unit in the mounting panel with

4 adapted screws

 Place the safety screen back onthe fixture

OVERHEAD RIGGING

Important: The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper



installation can result in serious injuries and/or damage to property. Overhead rigging requires extensive
experience! Working load limits should be respected, certified installation materials should be used, the
installed device should be inspectedregularly for safety.

 Make sure the area below the installation placeis free from unwanted persons duringrigging, de-rigging and servicing.
 Locate the fixture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any flammablematerials and/orliquids.
 The device should beinstalled out of reach of people andoutside areas where persons may walkby or be seated.
 The device should be well fixed; afree-swinging mountingis dangerous and may notbe considered!
 The operator has to make sure that the safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by an expert

before using them for the first time. Theinstallations should be inspected every year by a skilled person to be sure that
safety is still optimal.

MAINTENANCE

 Make sure the area belowthe installationplace is free from unwanted persons during servicing.

During inspection thefollowing pointsshould be checked:

 All screws used forinstalling the device and anyof its parts should be tightly fastened and may not be corroded.
 Housings, fixationsandinstallations spots (ceiling, truss, suspensions)should be totally free from any deformation.
 The cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when even a small problem is

detected.

Attention: We strongly recommendinternal cleaning to becarried out by qualifiedpersonnel!

CARACTERISTIQUES

 Cet appareil a été conçu pourla productionde jeux de lumières décoratifset estutilisé dans des spectacles lumineux.
 Projecteur RGB à LED, très léger, à utiliser uniquement avec le LED MANAGER (appareil d'alimentation externe,

spécialementadapté aux normes DMX).

 81 LED : 26rouges + 26 vertes + 29bleues, placées derrière une solide vitre de protection de 15 x 15 cm.
 Deux angles de dispersion sont disponibles: 15° et 40°.
 L'appareil peut être encastré dans n'importe quel paroi et/ou plafond.
 Une équerre destinée à suspendre l'appareil est fournie pour le fixer aisément sur une barre de support ou sur

n'importe quellesurface.

 Connexion électrique très simple, à 4 fils.
 Trèsbasse consommationde courant, seulement 10 watts!
 Pas de production de chaleur !
 L'appareilpeut être utilisé dans des discothèques, des cafés, des salons, des bâtiments, des parkings, des habitations

diverses, etc…

 Avant d’utiliser cet appareil, assurez-vous de l’absence de dommages liés au transport. En cas de dommages,

n’utilisez pasl’appareil et contactezle vendeur.

 Important: Cet appareil a quitté notre usine en parfaite condition et bien emballé. Il est primordial que l’utilisateur

suive les instructions de sécurité et avertissements inclus dans ce manuel. La garantie ne s’applique pas en cas de
dommage lié à une utilisation incorrecte. Le vendeur ne prend pas la responsabilité des défauts ou de tout problème
résultant dufait de n’avoir pas tenu compte des mises en gardede ce manuel.

 Pour éviter la formation de condensation à l’intérieur de l’appareil, patientez quelques minutes pour laisser l’appareil

s’adapter à la température ambiante lorsqu’il arrive dans une pièce chauffée après le transport. La condensation
empêche l'appareil de fonctionnermanière optimale, et elle peut mêmecauser des dommages.
