Overview

The NX-1710E Single Door Control M odule enables NetworX

panels to interface w ith most popular W iegand readers. Ideal

for a range of commercial and residential applications, Wiegand

readers are widely avail able and offer a l arge sel ecti on of reader

types. Wi th the NX-1710E, Netw orX panels can support a door

control event log and scheduling such as open/ closed/holiday.

Net worX inst all ations w ith W iegand readers are fast and easy

with NX-1710E modules. The NX-1710E has a zone input that

supports a W iegand reader and monit ors the door zone w it hout

requiring separate zone w ires from the panel or addit ional zone

expander. The module suppli es 5 and 12 Volt s of power to the

readers, so addit ional pow er supplies are usually not required.

The NX-1710E’s on-board relay enables switching power on

M agLock and other door locking mechanisms.

Each NX-1710E door module supports up to t wo readers per door.

Net worX panels support a maximum of 16 modules

(16 doors / 32 readers).
