NPT ADAPTER
APPLICATION
1/4"–18 NPT thread adapter permits installation of a Level TROLL in threaded
process piping.
The kit includes:
• 015 Viton
• Teflon® thread tape
• Vacuum grease
• NPT adapter (titanium grade 5)
Tools required:
• 11/16" wrench

Step 4. Lubricate o-ring and install
on probe.

INSTALLATION
1. Tape threads, clockwise (when looking down threaded end), 2 turns.
2. Thread taped adapter into pipe or fitting using 11/16" wrench on wrench flats.
3. Remove the instrument nose cone.
Do not touch the pressure sensor face with any object when the
nose cone is removed. Damage caused by digging or scraping
in the pressure sensor opening is not covered by the warranty.
4. Lubricate the supplied o-ring with vacuum grease and install on threads at front
end of instrument as shown.
5. Thread probe into adapter and hand-tighten.
GUIDELINES AND PRECAUTIONS
• Pressure is limited by the pressure range of the Level TROLL.
