INSTALLING THE DRIVER
1 Connect the adapter to a USB port on your PC. The
driver install wizard runs automatically.
2 When the install wizard opens, click Next to
continue with the installation.
3 Follow the wizard, then click Finish to complete
the installation.
4 If prompted to restart your computer, please do
so, then connect your display using the adapter and your own VGA cable (VGA cable not included).
5 Set the resolution you want on your PC. The
adapter supports up to 1920 × 1080@60 Hz using USB 3.0 or 800 × 600@60 Hz using USB 2.0.
TROUBLESHOOTING
My computer does not detect the adapter
• Make sure that all of the cables and plugs are securely fastened.
• Try using another USB port on the PC or laptop.
• Make sure that your monitor is functioning properly by testing it with a VGA cable connected to the VGA port on another computer.
I do not see the additional driver in my system
• Reinstall the driver by going into Device Manager, selecting Display Adapters, right clicking on
Insignia USB Display Adapter then selecting Uninstall. Reboot your system, then plug in the
adapter and repeat the installation process.
