The process takes about 15 to 20 seconds. Upon completion, the printer waits for the next cycle based on last stir cycle, last print job processed, or time from power-on.

Changing the stir frequency

The stir cycles frequency can be adjusted between two settings: one stir cycle every six hours, or one stir cycle every twenty-four hours.
To adjust the stir cycle frequency:
1. Use the EWS or Toolbox to access the System tab.
2. Choose Print Quality.
3. Observe the Optimize section. A 24 hour rotation ON/OFF selection is available.
o If the 24 hour setting is Off, the printer stir cycle will occur after sitting idle for
approximately 6 hours.
o If the 24 hour setting is On, the time between stir cycles will increase to
approximately 24 hours from the last stir cycle or the last printer use.
There is no way to completely eliminate the rotations.
