CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Remove the cam era from its housing.
4. Make sure the c amera is powered off.
5. Charge the b attery by conne cting the c amera to a com puter
using t he included USB ca ble. The red s tatus light turns on dur ing
charging and turns off wh en the batte ry is fully c harged.
The in cluded lit hium-ion batter y comes par tially charged. No damage
occurs to the came ra or batter y if used pri or to a full charge.
2. Remove the ca mera side door and i nsert a mic roSD, microSDHC
or microSDXC

card into the c ard slot. A mic roSD card wi th a Class
10 or UHS-1 ratin g is required .

POWERING ON + OFF
To Power On:
Press the Power/Mode button [ ]. The red ca mera status light s flash
three times a nd the sound indicator e mits three beeps. Once the ca mera
status screen displays informati on, your cam era is on.
To Power Off:
Press and ho ld the Power/Mode button [ ] for two seconds. The red
came ra status lights fl ash severa l times and th e sound indicato r emits
seven beeps.

that automatically sta rts recording photos or vide os once it turns
