4.4.8 Contact Wear Indicator
EntelliGuard devices require periodic
maintenance. During these activities it is
recommended that the arcing contact tips are
checked for wear.
The contact wear indicator is a simple device
that allows the user to establish if the arcing
contacts need replacement. It can be used on
devices of the fixed and pattern (if the arc chutes
can be removed) and on devices of the drawout
pattern.
Contact Wear Indicator use:
1. Remove the arc chamber assembly by
loosening the two M6 hardware, Fig. A.
2. Drop the Wear indicator in the housing cavity
till it properly seats on the housing surface. As
shown in Fig. B.
3. Check each finger top end with respect to the
green color area marked on the wear indicator
as Shown in Fig. C.
4. Repeat this procedure for each pole and for
each finger within the pole
5. If the finger top end crosses the edge of the
green area marked on the wear indicator, the
arcing contacts have eroded and needs
replacement.
6. After use, remove the Wear Indicator and
replace the arc chutes by placing and tightening
the mounting hardware with a torque of 8 to 10
Nm.
4.4.8 Kontaktabbrandsanzeige
EntelliGuard Geräte benötigen eine regelmäßige
Wartung. Während dieser Tätigkeiten ist auch
die Inspektion des Kontaktabbrands der
Lichtbogenkontakte erforderlich.
Die externe Verschleißanzeige ist ein einfaches
Zubehör, das den noch akzeptablen
Kontaktabbrand anzeigt. Es kann immer dort
angewendet werden, wo auch die
Lichtbogenkammer entnommen werden kann.
Die Kontaktverschleißangabe ist die relative
Stellung der einzelnen Kontaktrandoberfläche
zum grünen Bereich auf der Verschleißanzeige.
Verschleiß mit Anzeigeteil prüfen:
1. Entfernen Sie den Lichtbogenkammer
Montageaufbau durch Lösen der zwei M6Schrauben, wie in Abb. A dargestellt.
2. Drücken Sie die Verschleißanzeige in den
Gehäusehohlraum bis sie richtig auf der
Gehäuseoberfläche sitzt, wie in Abb.. B
dargestellt.
3. Prüfen Sie die einzelnen KontaktfingerRandflächen in Bezug auf den in grüner Farbe
markierten Bereich auf dem Verschleißanzeiger
wie im Bild. C gezeigt.
4. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang für jede
Polbahn und für jeden Kontaktfinger in dieser
Kontaktbahn.
5. Wenn die Kontaktfinger-Randflächen die
grünen Bereichsflächen der Verschleißanzeige

Aparaty EntelliGuard wymagają okresowej
konserwacji. Podczas tych prac zalecane jest
sprawdzenie zużycia styków głównych.
Wskaźnik zużycia styków jest prostym
urządzeniem pozwalającym użytkownikowi
sprawdzić czy styki główne wymagają wymiany.
Może być używany w wyłącznikach
stacjonarnych (jeśli możliwe jest usunięcie
komór łukowych) oraz wysuwnych.
Sposób uzycia wskaznika zuzycia styków:
1. Usunąć komorę łukową poprzez zluzowanie
dwóch nakrętek M6, Fot. A.
2. Ustawić wskaźnik zużycia w zagłębieniu tak
aby dokładnie opierał się na poiwerzchni
obudowy (Fot. B).
3. Sprawdzić każde górne wyprowadzenie z
kolorem zielonym na wskaźniku zużycia, wg Fot.
C.
4. Powtórzyć procedurę dla każdego bieguna i
dla każdego wyprowadzenia w biegunie.
5. Jeśli wyprowadzenie zbliża się do krawędzi
powierzchni zielonej oznaczonej na wskaźniku –
oznacza to że główne wyprowadzenie jest
zużyte i wymaga wymiany.
6. Po użyciu wyjąć wskaźnik zużycia i
zamocować komory łukowe dokręcając śruby
momentem od 8 do 10 Nm.

6. Nach Ende der Kontrolle des
Kontaktabbrands entfernen Sie die VerschleißAbbrandanzeige wieder und montieren sie die
Lichtbogenkammer wieder durch Befestigung
der Teile mit einem Drehmoment zwischen 8 bis
10 Nm.
Hinweis:
Wenn einer oder mehrere der
Lichtbogenkontakte stark abgenutzt sind, so
fordern Sie bitte Ersatz bei einer unserer After
Sales-Service Abteilungen, wie in Kapitel 6 dieses
Handbuchs beschrieben, an.
