SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS FOR VENTILATOR MODEL CCB

Exhaust Ventilator to be SOUTHERN ENGINEERING SYSTEMS by Duke Mfg Co.,
model CCB, Type II, hood assembly for non-grease laden vapors in compliance with I.M.C.
(International Mechanical Code), and NSF.

Canopy, constructed of 18 gauge stainless steel with perimeter bottom gutter. Gutter corners
and vertical body fully welded to form a liquid tight construction. Polish stainless steel to a #3
finish.

Gutter to be fitted with optional 1” Drain fitting at rear corner.

Furnish Duct Collar, fully welded, in top of canopy. Duct collar 4” high by size indicated on
plan.

Optional internal Condensate Baffle constructed of same material as canopy.

Integral Make-Up Air shall NOT be furnished. Canopy shall be constructed with 18 gauge
stainless steel stationary panels on all exposed sides forming box type construction

Furnish (optional) Rod Hanger Brackets at front and rear to suspend canopy from
ceiling.

Canopy shall be NSF listed. All equipment built in an ISO 9001:2000 approved
manufacturing facility.
