software such as the malfunction upon playing back CDDA after programming, etc.
Symptom: 1) Malfunction upon playing back CDDA after the programming:
When Tracks #1 and #10 on a CDDA on which 10 tracks have been recorded were programmed to be played, the unit reproduces Track #2 and subsequent Tracks after playing back Track #1, without playing back Track #10, while indicating Track #1 on the Display.
2) Malfunction upon playing back a particular DVD Video Disc "RAGING BULL". When playing back the particular DVD Video Disc "RAGING BULL", the video in this volume is not played back normally. (It plays back up to the MENU properly.)
3) Malfunction upon playing back a particular DVD Video Disc "The ATeam/Universal". After selecting the Episode Index on the MENU display of the particular DVD Video Disc "The A-Team/Universal", the Display immediately returns to the MENU, even though the Episode Index is momentarily played back.
4) Malfunction upon changing the layer on the particular DVD Video Disc "Star Wars Episode 2 (PAL Version)". The image and sound interrupt momentarily upon changing the Layer on the particular DVD Video Disc "Star Wars Episode 2 (PAL version)".
5) Malfunction upon playback of a particular Disc "River dance (PAL Version)". The sound interruption occurs upon playback of the particular DVD Video Disc "River dance (PAL Version)" at NTSC conversion.

Solution:
• Regarding the above items #1), 2), 3) and 5): We have corrected the Back-end software so that no malfunction occurs.
• Regarding the item #4): The disc was such a disc that the image and sound interrupt momentarily when switching the Layer. However, we improved the Layer's switching processing software of the Back-end so that the image and sound are not interrupted.
MODIFICATION: Upon customer claim or refurbishment of the unit. Please record the program files onto blank CD-R Discs individually and separately, and update the above models upon refurbishment, and your customer's unit upon claim.
Note:
• When recording the above program files on CD-R Discs, the format shall be "ISO9660" and the Session shall be "CLOSE".
• When recording the file on the CD-R, please record it at the 4-times speed of the normal speed. If the 4 times speed was not available, please record it at the minimum speed that is available on your machine.
• If the file was recorded at a high speed, such as 32 or 48 times speed of the normal speed, the updating may fail due to the data incorrectly recorded on the CD-R.
Update Procedure:
Cautions during the updating operation:
• Please do not turn off the Power during the rewriting operation.
• If the FL Display continues indicating "LOADING" during the rewriting operation without changing into "COMPLETE", wait for more than five minutes after closing the Disc Tray and turn off the Power of the unit. Then, start the rewriting operation again from the beginning.
1) Updating the System MICON:
(1) Turn on the Power of the unit, press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button and open the Disc Tray. (2) Set the CD-R (Ver.6542-5) for rewriting the System MICON to the Disc Tray and press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button.
• The Disc Tray closes and the updating is performed automatically.
• After indicating "LOADING" on the FL Display, the Power of the unit turns off once and turns it on again.
• After "WRITING" appeared on the FL Display, "COMPLETE" appears on the Display.
