Subject: Modification of specification by EuP (Directive on Eco Design of

Energy-using Products).

This is for information only.

Symptom: From January 2010, EuP (Directive on Eco Design of Energy-using

Products) will be enforced in European countries. Therefore, we will modify this
function to all of the target models.

Solution:

MODIFICATION: Press the "CLOCK" button when unit is standby

Tip!: We do not need to modify units already sold in the market. We do not
modify contents of instruction manual.

Serial Number Range:

We will apply the above modification to the production models in the following
serial numbers.
