•Theapplianceisdesignedexclusively for privateuseand forthe envisagedpurpose.Thisapplianceisnot fit for commercialuse.

Do notusethe applianceoutdoors. Keepitawayfrom sourcesof heat,direct sunlight,humidity(never dipit into anyliquid) and sharpedges.Do notusethe appliancewith wethands.Ifthe applianceishumidor wet,unplugit immediately.

•Whencleaning orputtingitaway, switchoffthe appliance and alwayspullout theplugfrom thesocket (pullthe plug itself, notthelead)if theapplianceisnot beingused and remove theattachedaccessories.

Instructions

Unpacking

•Removeanyprotectivefoilsandstickersfromthesoleplate.

•Please unwindthe leadcompletely.

Electrical connection

•Makesurethatthe iron voltage(see name plate)and the line voltagematch.

•Themainsplug shouldonly be inserted into a correctly installed230V~50Hzsocket with earthingcontact.

Connected Wattage

The maximum powerconsumptionof theapplianceis2200W. Withthis connectedload a separatesupplyline protectedbya 16Ahousehold circuit breakerisrecommended.

CAUTION: OVERLOAD!

•Ifyouuseextensionleads,theseshould havea cable cross-sectionof atleast1.5 mm².

•Do notuseanymultiplesockets,asthis deviceistoo powerful.

Temperature Control on the Iron (6)

Water Tank (4)

•Place theironwith thesole plate inanuprightposition on a heat resistantsurface.

•Fillthe waterreservoir atthe refill opening(8). Use the suppliedmeasuring cup (12).Closethe lidof thetank.

•Thetank volumeis200ml.

Water

Please use onlydistilledwater.

Do notfill battery water,water fromthe clothesdryerandwater containing additives (suchasstarch, perfume, softener orother chemicals) into thewaterreservoir.

Thiscould damage theirondue toresiduesforming inthe steam chamber.These residuesmaycause impurities tothe fabricwhen dropping outof theholes inthe soleplate.

Operation

Before Initial Use

•Cleanthe ironing base witha slightly dampcloth.

•In ordertoremove allresidues beforeinitial use,please passthe iron a fewtimes overanold cleancloth.

Ironing without steam

NOTE:

•Sortout thegarments accordingto theirironing temperatures.

•Always setthe temperature controlto “MIN” before connecting theappliance toapowerpoint,orbefore disconnectingit.

•Set thesteamregulator(9)to thetipofthewedge mark (off).

•Place theirononits stand.

•Only connect themachine toa properly installedsafety socket,230V/50Hz.

•Set thetemperatureonthe temperaturecontrol(6). If you havesensitive itemstoiron,please begin with thelowest temperature.

NOTE:

Thecontrollamp(3)onthe iron showsthatit is heatingup. Assoonasthe controllampgoes off theoperating temperaturehasbeen reached.Nowyoucanstart ironing.

•Always turn thetemperaturecontrolto “MIN” after use and remove themainsplug(The control lamp goes off).

Steam Ironing

WARNING:

Thesteamishot. Danger of scalding!

NOTE:

•Forthis a hightemperatureisneeded.Turnthetemperature control(6)at least tothe “”symbol.

•Ifthe temperatureistoolow watermay leakfrom the soleplate.

•Setthe steam regulator (9) tothe broad end ofthe wedge mark.

•Steam escapesassoonasthe iron is in a horizontalposition.

•Extra steam can be addedwith thesteamjetfunction .

•Pressthesteamjetbutton (10) intermittently.

Spray Function ()

•Inorder tomoisten a section ofagarmentto be ironed, pressthespray button(11)intermittently.

Vertical Steam function

This can be usedtoproduce ajetof steam ina vertical direction.

WARNING:

Neverdirect thesteamjetat people. Risk of burning!

•Hangyour laundryonaclotheshangerand movethe iron toapproximately3-5cmaway.

•Pressthesteamjetbutton (10) intermittently.

Refillingthewatertank

•Always disconnectthe mains plugbeforerefillingwater.

•Setthesteamregulator(9)tothetipofthewedgemark(off).

•Placetheironwiththe soleplatein an upright positionona heatresistant surface.

•Openthelid ofthe refill inletandcarefully pourin thewater.

•Do notexceed themaximum lineasmarked on thewater reservoir.

•Closethelid ofthe tank.

Self-Cleaning (“”)

1.Half fillthe watertankwithwater.

2.Heat themachine up toits maximum temperature.Afterthe controllampgoes off removethe machinefrom themains supply.

3.Now holdtheironhorizontallyover asink.Setthe steam

regulator(9)toposition“”andpullit out. Nowrock thedevice backwardsandforwards untilthe tankisempty. Insertthesteamregulatoragain.Use theguidestodoso. Setthesteamregulatortothetip ofthe wedge mark (off).

4.Placethemachinebackonitsstand andheat itupagain. Tocleanthe base nowironover a cleancotton cloth.

Whenyouhavefinished

•Always turn thetemperaturecontrolto “MIN” after use and remove themainsplug(The control lamp goes off).

•Remove themainsplug fromthesocket.

•Empty thewatertank in orderto preventthe contentsof the tankleaking.

•Allow thedevicetocool downbeforeyouput itaway.
