WUX4000 Multimedia Projector
Introducing a new quality standard
for installation projectors.
Sharp images, cutting edge technology.
With native WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels) and Full HD capability (1080p),
the WUX4000 redenes what’s achievable
with a compact installation projector.
Canon’s world-class lens design and LCOS technology delivers photo-like precision, seamless lattice-free video with little or no after-image and smooth colour gradation – but without the price tag associated with expensive three-chip DLP devices.
Thanks to Canon’s AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) optical system, the WUX4000 achieves 4000 lumens despite its compact dimensions; while a 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures vivid colours and deep blacks.
The ultimate in versatility.
The WUX4000 offers a choice of three easily exchangeable lenses: each featuring high resolution, less than 0.1% distortion, low chromatic aberration and near-imperceptible
ghosting and are.
Canon’s state of the art lens technology means the WUX4000 undergoes just a 7% reduction in brightness when used with its wide angle single focus lens, and no reduction at all with its telephoto zoom lens. This makes the WUX4000 ideal for projecting bright and life-like images in a large venue.
Control at your fingertips
For the ultimate exibility, the WUX4000
comes equipped with a wide choice of interfaces. DVI-D and HDMI ports let you project HD images from PC, Macintosh or Blu-ray devices; and when the audio in/out connections are in use, switching the image source results in the sound automatically changing too.
The audio output terminal makes it straightforward to adjust volume levels as well as visual settings using the WUX4000’s remote control: a bonus in larger venues which frequently employ an external audio
amplier and loudspeakers.
A built-in RJ-45 port makes it simple to monitor and control the projector remotely via the network. The WUX4000 also supports the PJLink protocol, enabling straightforward control and monitoring with compatible systems.

In commercial environments like boardrooms and meeting rooms, the WUX4000’s superb performance in both ambient and controlled lighting represents a powerful advantage. The WUX4000’s wide-screen resolution is ideal in large venues where projected images of over 150" are often required.
For high-end conference centres that offer HD projector facilities as a differentiator, the WUX4000’s clarity and precision – whether projecting photos, video or presentation graphs and charts – will maintain a premium-brand feel.
For Technical Colleges and Higher Education.
In engineering or design lecture theatres and study rooms, accurate projection of intricate images like blueprints, product or building designs is of paramount importance.
The WUX4000’s 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution and ultra-low distortion, in either natural or controlled light, are ideal for these environments. Straightforward connectivity with room control systems means academic staff can just plug in and go.
For Public Display.
The WUX4000 can handle the most adventurous of public display situations with ease. Museums, exhibitions, visitor centres and even houses of worship can all benet from the performance of the WUX4000. With stunning visuals now a frequent requirement for these types of environment, the WUX4000’s high resolution capabilities and 360° installation offer endless scope for sparkling creativity.
In multi-projector environments like domes, planetariums and retail stores, the WUX4000’s precise colour matching and deep colours deliver a memorable and compelling experience.
For Engineering and Design.
3D modelling and prototyping, architecture, mapping and CAD
environments depend on projecting images with absolute clarity and accuracy. The WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels)
ensures that ne lines and small text are
sharp and easily legible.
Meanwhile creatively-focused businesses like fashion houses and advertising agencies will appreciate the superb accuracy and faithfulness enabled by the WUX4000’s six-axis colour adjustment and new 3D lookup table. A wide choice of preset image modes – such as Presentation, Dynamic and sRGB – enable the WUX4000 to deliver stunning images in almost any environment.
For Simulation and Control Rooms
To faithfully portray precision detail, control rooms and industrial-grade simulators
demand ultra-fast refresh speeds and smooth motion, together with the high native WUXGA resolution of the WUX4000. These environments are frequently ‘always on’, especially at the higher end of the market.
