CINEMA PRIME LENSES

4K Optical Performance with Superb Control

Canon’s brilliant series of Cinema Prime Lenses offer spectacular 4K-image quality and a full-frame imaging circle, in a lightweight and dust/water resistant compact design, making them ideal for any

number of applications. This comprehensive line of lenses includes five EF-mount models (CN-E14mm T3.1 L F, CN-E24mm T1.5 L F, CN-E50mm T1.3 L F, CN-E85mm T1.3 L F, and CN-E135mm T2.2 L F) with consistent form factors and markings optimized for motion picture production. Each Cinema Prime Lens features an 11-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful bokeh, and innovative glass construction which counteracts barrel

expansion and contraction to avoid temperature induced marking discrepancies.

Each lens also provides markings on angled surfaces on both sides of the barrel, making it easy to read focus and aperture settings from behind or either side of the camera (focus markings can even be switched from standard labeling to metric). The control rings on each lens are engineered to maintain the proper amount of resistance with consistent operating torque. For added flexibility, all Cinema Prime Lenses also share uniform front lens diameters and gear positioning on the focus and iris rings, and compatibility with third-party accessories, thus allowing film crews to quickly and conveniently switch lenses without adjustments to rig setups.
