Product Summary
●The DM601 S2 was voted product of the year 1999 by What Hi-Fi magazine. B&Ws
waterfall design philosophy ensures the DM601 S2 uses cutting edge technology and
components which all lead to making it an award winning speaker.
●The speaker incorporates Nautilus™ technology; producing an amazingly open and
detailed sound. The front baffle is of double layer construction with a low-resonance
reinforced plastic outer skin attached to the wooden panel behind.
Technical highlights
Nautilus™ Tweeter: B&W's Nautilus Tweeter technology ensures that the sound
remains focused and time-sensitive and that the stereo-image is presented with
unparalleled three dimensional accuracy.
Kevlar®: B&W developed and patented the method of using Kevlar® for
loudspeaker cones to reduce unwanted standing waves. DuPont originally
created Kevlar® for use in bulletproof vests.
