Der Ultraschall Füllstand
Sensor 8170 wird an ein
Füllstand Transmitter Typ 8175
in der Schaltschrank- oder
Wandmontage-Ausführung
angeschlossen.
Von dem Sensor werden
Schallwellen ausgesendet.
Diese Wellen werden vom
Prozessmedium reflektiert
und zum nun als Empfänger
arbeitenden Messgerät
zurückgesendet.

The 8170 ultrasonic level
sensor is designed to work
with the 8175 ultrasonic
transmitter available in a panel
or wall mounted version. The
sensor function is to transform
the electrical signal into an
ultrasonic wave which is
emitted from the base of the
sensor and to detect the
ultrasonic waves reflected
by the surface of the fluid. A
temperature sensor is built
into the design of the 8170 for
temperature compensation.
The 8170 design allows the
sensor to be installed via any
G2“ or NPT 2“ connection.

the transmitter, please refer
to the 8175 ultrasonic level
transmitter manual.

Le capteur de niveau à
ultrasons 8170 a été conçu
pour fonctionner avec le
transmetteur de niveau à
ultrasons 8175 en versions
encastrable ou murale. Sa
fonction est de convertir le
signal électrique en une onde
ultrasonore, émise par la base
du capteur et de détecter
l‘onde réfléchie par la surface
du fluide. Une sonde de
température est intégrée dans
le 8170 pour la compensation
de la temperature.
La sonde 8170 peut être
installée via toute connexion
G2“ ou NPT 2“. Référez-vous
au manuel du transmetteur de
niveau à ultrasons 8175 pour
une installation optimale du
capteur.
