BlackBerry® ID

You can now create a BlackBerry ID and log into the BlackBerry App World™ storefront using a BlackBerry

 

ID.

 

 

Payment methods

Depending on your organization, region, and wireless service provider, you can now pay for items in the

 

BlackBerry App World storefront using a credit card, or by adding it to the monthly bill from your wireless

 

service provider.

 

 

Top 25 items

You can now view lists of the top 25 newest items, free applications, paid applications, themes, and

 

recently updated items.

 

 

Scan a barcode

You can now quickly find an item by scanning a barcode for that item.

 

 

Fixed issues

This section lists fixed issues for the BlackBerry App World™ storefront version 2.0

General fixed issues

Prices listed in Euro currency should now include a comma (,) in stead of a decimal (.)

Error messages should now be correctly translated.

In some cases, when you deleted your application archive and then archived another application, the application was not archived and you could not open the application.

When you searched for an application within a category, you were not informed if there were no results found.

General issues

in some cases, when an application update is available, the notification indicator does not appear on the Featured Items screen.

In some cases, after updating your version of BlackBerry App World, the BlackBerry App World icon does not appear on the Home screen of your device.

In some cases, you receive a credit card authorization error when you attempt to purchase an item using yourPayPal® account.

General issues

In some cases, after you update your BlackBerry® device software, the BlackBerry App World icon does not appear on the home screen of your device.

In some cases, you are unable to read all the reviews for an item, or your device might not respond while reading reviews for an item.

Fields on the Payment Options screen might not display correctly.

In some cases, if you delete and reinstall a trial version of an application, you are not able to purchase the full version of the application.

In some cases, your device does not respond as expected while scrolling or navigating within a screen.

In some cases, when you open the BlackBerry App World storefront, you receive a server error message and you are forced to exit the BlackBerry App World storefront.

In some cases, if you receive an error message while trying to reinstall an item, your device might not respond.

In some cases, if you delete a purchased item and then try to reinstall it, you receive an error message indicating the item is not available.
