You have acquired a colour-TV that was manufactured at one of the most advanced TV-plants in the world.
It is Bang & Olufsen's new factory at Struer, Denmark, where electronics and computers control the majority of functions in an ingenious production system developed by Bang & Olufsen's own staff.
And ingenuity and advanced electronics is what we have employed when developing your Beovision. We have allowed for the wide selection of exciting TV-programmes of the future, and we have achieved perfection in terms of quality. This means that you can always trust your Beovision to come up to your expectations.
Any Bang & Olufsen product is easy to operate. But thanks to its advanced electronic design it also has a number of features that you may not be aware of rightaway. They are among the features explained in this owner's manual. Take your time to read it through and you will have the greatest benefit from your new Beovision.
We advise you to keep the owner's manual close to your TV-set – it may come in handy if you want to check a function.
When placing your Beovision you must make sure that there is at least 10 cm of free space above the apparatus to ensure sufficient ventilation. Avoid placing the TV-set too close to a radiator or other heat sources, as the hot air current from these may cause damage to the TV-set. The TV-set should be placed in an upright position or at a slight tilt backwards. The bracket underneath the TV-set must be turned for-ward to make the TV-set tilt. You have to lift the TV-set to gain access to the bracket. The Beovision may also be placed on an original Bang & Olufsen stand. The stand, which is provided with cas-tors, can be supplied by your n placing your Beovision
