Series
Indoor Air Handlers
AAON F1 Series indoor air handling units can
be used for residential and light commercial
applications. The F1 Series air handling unit
and AAON CB Series condensing unit have
been designed and engineered to work
together as a high eciency system. They
can be matched to create a high eciency
cooling split system air conditioner or high
eciency heating and cooling split system
heat pump.
Superior Features
• Direct drive forward curved varible speed ECM driven
supply fan provides quiet and energy ecient airow.
• Galvanized steel construction with foil faced insulation
and a removable service compartment panel allow the
unit to be easily cleaned and maintained.
• Sloped composite drain pan, with drain connections
available on either side of the unit, resists corrosion and
makes the unit easy to install.
• Factory installed TXV reduces start up time and performs more eciently than a xed orice design.
• Filter rack with quickly replaceable 1” berglass air
lter.

Split System Heat Pump
Energy ecient heating option that allows a split system to
be able to provide on demand cooling and heating with the
refrigeration circuit. Option is available as a matched split
system with an F1 Series air handling unit and matching CB or
CF Series condensing unit
Split System Modulating Hot Gas Reheat Humidity
Control
This premier option provides energy ecient
dehumidication, even at low sensible heat loads, with
modulating valves that reduce temperature swings.
During the dehumidication mode of operation the
system uses the valves to control the amount of reheat
provided by the factory installed reheat coil, thus
dehumidifying the air while at the same time supplying
comfortable, room temperature air. Moisture related indoor
air quality issues, such as mold growth, condensation, and
structural deterioration, are minimized, or eliminated, by
reducing the space humidity while enhancing occupant comfor t.
Variable Speed ECM Driven Supply Fan
Factory installed and congured variable speed ECM
driven supply fan for each F1 Series model and can be eld
congured and optimized based on the local climate and
application. ECM technology is both reliable and
ultra-high eciency, dramatically increasing the system’s
SEER ratings. The electronically controlled motor quietly varies
the fan speed to maintain air volume and provide exceptional
temperature control for consistent comfort.
